Fantastic service.
The 1 star reviews really put me off but I figured it was worth the risk and it definitely was.
Large selection of Victorian Style tiles which added a real vibe to our bathroom.
Initially tried ordering through the website, but I realised we could collect instead of pay for postage. There was no option on their checkout (this is the only thing I’d say needs looking at), so I rang through to customer service and ordered with a sales person.
Lovely customer service, sent the invoice over instantly and was able to pick up that day.
Collection was very easy - pressed a buzzer, gave the order details and someone brought to our car.

Accidentally ordered too little, so ended up going back a few times, but wouldn’t hesitate to go again for other tiles.

Quality of the tile were great too. My tiler was impressed.

Ordered 300 tiles or so for a bathroom and only 8 had broken, we used those for cut pieces.
I can’t fault this company at all, good communication (Sam) the tiles are beautiful.
I can only assume the majority of the issues are likely caused by bad couriers.

I do not recommend. Order was late and incomplete, absolutely no assistance in finding a solution, customer service is non-existent (completely unresponsive for weeks on end) and have lied to me to buy time. I am still waiting on a refund after months of promises and will be taking them to small claims court if there is no resolution in the next week. Will update my review when there is a resolution.

There was a huge variety of tiles to choose from. My tiles arrived within days of ordering and the quality of the tiles were second to none. They’re gorgeous tiles exactly what I was looking for.

Absolutely appalling service - Do not use!
We received an order from tiles-direct, and despite multiple attempts, two different tilers, three different methods of trying to fit the tiles, it was found to be impossible. The glaze/ceramic on the tiles was too brittle, and fell apart.
We requested a refund for these faulty tiles - to no avail. Multiple emails over the course of a month to them, including a formal complaint, which was ignored. Eventually got through on the phone to be told Sam the Manager would call me back that day at 5pm, never happened.

Complete cowboys.
Do not give them your business, they will take your money, give you a faulty product and run!

Poor description on cladding. Ordered corners and face cladding both with same description on site. One was slate the other was quartz, not matching. To return I now have to organise and pay a pallet delivery myself. This left me short of cladding so ordered two more boxes which was charged thr same amount as pallet delivery, ridiculous two little boxes hand delivered and to make matters worse one box was opened and two pieces missing leaving me short for tht client. Rang to complain,sounded uninterested after it took hours of trying for someone to
answer a phone. Won't be buying from these again which is their loss as we install alot if cladding.

It states 2 to 3 working days.
5 days later, nothing. No eta.

No one picks up the phone. What’s the point of presenting a telephone number?

My building project is being held up whilst we wait for the tile order.

I have emailed several times. The only response I had was to request my order number even though my name and email address were available. No information given before or since.

Very frustrating.
Won’t use the company again.

We ordered tiles labelled as 'Monarch Green Metro Tiles,' which appeared quite dark in the photos. This was following our experience with lighter 'Victorian Green Metro Tiles' from another supplier. Upon arrival, we discovered that the tiles were the same lighter Victorian green as previously ordered (even down to the production batch). Moreover, the product description did not indicate that the tiles needed to be glazed or that they were unsuitable for wet areas—requirements that are crucial to prevent damage.

We were informed that someone would return to collect the tiles, but this has yet to happen, leaving us with a palette of tiles on the driveway that we are unable to move or unpack. These are now exposed to anyone driving past who may want to take their chances.

While customer service was initially very helpful, we are now unable to reach them and we have no indication of when the tiles will be collected.

There are significant discrepancies between the product advertised and what was delivered.

Additionally, the tiles are bowed, similar to the previous issue we faced with another company, making them unfit for purpose even if they had been the correct type.

I wish I'd read more reviews before choosing this company for my tiles. When spending hundreds of pounds you expect a decent amount of customer service.

I waited all day on the delivery day which never happened. I was never given another date. A couple of days later the delivery driver phone to say he was outside (no 2 hour window to let me know?!) I wasn't near my house so they just left the tiles on a busy street outside my flat. Not in a safe space. I'm lucky the tiles were still there when I arrived.

When I opened the tiles one was cracked. Lets hope their customer service deals with this efficiently. It's a shame because the tiles are beauitiful but not sure I'd use them again.

This company were one of the best,after being in the building game for nearly 50 years,I have not known how helpful and fast as tiles direct, I have seen some of the other reviews and cannot believe it,I ordered my tiles at around lunchtime and they arrived by 10 am the next day,by one of the most helpful drivers ever , I would highly recommend this company to everyone I know

I had an extremely disappointing experience with TilesDirect, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this company unless you're prepared for a lengthy and frustrating process.

Despite their website claiming a delivery time of 2-3 working days, my order took over two weeks to arrive. At no point did anyone from the company contact me to inform me of the delays, leaving me to constantly chase them for updates. Their lack of communication is utterly unacceptable, and it seems like once they have your money, they have little regard for customer satisfaction.

When I finally managed to get in touch with their so-called "managers," I found them to be completely incompetent and unable to resolve the situation. They made no effort to remedy the delay or even offer a simple apology. I had to follow up multiple times and was never contacted back via phone or email as promised. The lack of professionalism and responsibility from their staff is appalling.

If you're looking for a smooth, stress-free experience, I would highly recommend avoiding TilesDirect. Unless you have endless time to waste chasing them down for updates and are prepared to never hear from them again, save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere.
