I am seriously blown away at how well Sergio has handled my situation! Not only is my table from Transforming Table gorgeous and so incredible due to the various lengths you can have, the customer service went above and beyond. Because I was within warranty and I had a piece of my table that was truly damaged, Sergio has made sure I do not have to wonder or worry about being taken care of! I have been kept in the loop per each process able to send pictures to validate the damage and receive a new table with such kind regard for the inconvenience it has been. What an excellent company and employees~ they hire them with the customers in mind, because we all are customers somewhere:)

I ordered a round table in November 2024 expecting to recieve the table by Thanksgiving. Updated expecting shipping date was January 2025 but now is expecting to ship out February 2025.

I spoke to
Kane and he gave me an updated shipping/delivery time - order should arrive mid to late February. Appreciate the friendly rapport and some answers :)

Customer support negligence

My wife ordered a table in June. (US-50550/ Michelle Martinelli/ Defective Round Chair) We had the table delivered in October after a significant delay. The table was delivered with a defective nut & bolt. Customer support rep Kevin requested pictures & emailed that they would have the manufacturer ship missing & necessary parts.

Between my wife & I we have emailed support 4 times since with zero action & zero response.

This is the customer support that results in consumer resentment and the rise of artificial intelligence.

No emails from Kevin or customer support. No calls from Kevin or customer support.

Sad.

Easy to shop but and buy but delivery time and updates are frivolous.

Easy to shop on the website and easy to buy once decided but shipment and arrival will happen whenever they see fit. Though guaranteed that the table would arrive well before Christmas it unfortunately did not and therefore reshaped the entire holiday plan with my family and I as I could not host them as intended. A month later in the table is still not shown or had any update of meaning and all that was offered was two matching chairs for said table. Overall I'm quite shocked and extremely disappointed as this table was a huge purchase and one that was excitedly anticipated but now has only been an annoyance and frustration.

Round Table Set - Scandinavian Oak

The Round Transformer Table is truly one of the best on the market. The design is beautifully engineered and incredibly well thought out, combining elegance with functionality. Its ability to adapt to different spaces and group sizes is impressive, making it a perfect fit for any dining room.

Unfortunately, the purchasing and delivery experience was far from ideal. After placing my order, I had to wait nearly four months to receive the table. The delivery date kept getting pushed further and further from the original estimate, and there was no proactive communication from the company. Reaching customer service was truly a frustrating experience, as it seemed to be an automated system with little to no help.

While the product itself deserves 5 stars, I’m giving it 4 stars because of the continuous delays and poor customer service. If the company can address these issues, this table would be perfect in every way. If you’re considering this table, be prepared for a potential long wait and limited support but the quality will likely make it worthwhile in the end.

They stand behind their products!

The night before Thanksgiving, we opened our bench and found significant damage. I was so worried because even though we received our table months prior, we hadn’t needed the bench and had not opened the box. I was so bummed that not only would we not have it for Thanksgiving, but the chances of receiving a replacement before Christmas was probably slim. Kevin of the warranty team immediately requested for a replacement bench to be shipped to me. Much to my surprise we got it 2 days before Christmas! I absolutely love my Transformer Table (and bench) and TT’s customer service has been out of this world!

The look is fantastic!

The look is fantastic! I chose the light wood color in the round design. The ability to extend the table and bench is easy enough for me as a petite woman but I do prefer help. I would purchase again based on style. I will share information that I would have liked to know in advance. I removed one star for 3 reasons:
1. I did not know that the table, chairs, bench and cabinet would arrive in 8 very large boxes. That I would not be able to move at all! I assumed the delivery men would unbox and set up. I had to hire a handy man since my husband was away for work and these boxes were very big, taking up most of my large foyer. (Had I ordered this in my last home this would have taken up my whole living room!) it took the handyman 3 hours to put everything together. So that was an added expense after the near $6,000 purchase. Maybe this assembly required was stated at the time of order, but I do not remember since that was 6 months ago. I also have a huge amount of cardboard that I will need to hire someone to break down and carry up from the basement (I have a spinal injury and my husband is away for business often) to recycle over the next few months, (in our township we are limited in the amount of recycling we can put out each week) luckily, I have basement space for this, it would be a very cumbersome amount of cardboard to hold onto for several months if I were living in an apartment or smaller home setting.
2. The bench does not latch closed when there are no leaves added to it. This is unfortunate because I intended to use the bench in the smallest position. I have decided to use it somewhere else in the home and purchased two more chairs in its place. This is also an issue because since the bench does not latch together, when one sits down on it, the seam separates, but when you stand back up the seam closes and this caught my sweater made a pull in it. The sweater was old. I’m not worried about that, but I do worry about small fingers getting pinched or the back of one pants getting caught and maybe even skin if someone is wearing shorts. For this reason, I cannot use it in a dining situation. I love the look of it though so I decided to use it as a hallway bench in a place where no one ever sits and I would say it’s very expensive for that use. Buyer beware if you thought you might use it without adding the leaves! I did not receive any information back when I messaged my concern on this. I have thought about adding some adhesive Velcro straps underneath after the busy holiday time subsides. I’m not sure if that will hold. However, when the table is fully extended for a party, I will have a couple of men carry it in to be used at that time.
3. And last, one of the latches to hold a cabinet door closed does not actually work so the door does not stay closed. I was told this latch was under warranty and I would be shipped a replacement. But I haven’t gotten any follow up email to know when that will be, but I trust the only reason I haven’t heard back yet is because of the holiday time we’re in.

Inept Company with Terrible Customer Service

I am writing to convey my utter outrage at the disgraceful customer service and completely inept delivery logistics surrounding my order from Transformer Table. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare and serves as a glaring indictment of this company’s utter lack of professionalism and accountability.

Their service representatives, are an exercise in futility, as they refused to issue a refund and dismissed my concerns with the excuse that "there is nothing we can do".

I placed an order in late November for a dining table, chairs, and bench, which was promised to arrive before Christmas. We are now well past that timeframe, and not only has the order not been delivered, but your delivery partner, Metropolitan, has also scheduled and rescheduled the delivery four times, with no resolution or confirmed shipping date in sight.

This repeated disorganization has caused significant inconvenience and ruined our expectations for a timely and professional service. Transformer Table's inability to meet basic commitments and their partner's complete failure in logistics coordination have left me deeply dissatisfied.

This company’s failure to honor its promises and the lack of transparency or accountability warrant legal action.

Just look at their response and it confirms this company is horrible.

Search REDDIT for Transformer table and read the threads of all the people that have had the SAME issues. They clearly have not and are not interested in fixing their business processes and do NOTHING to fix them on a go forward basis.

COMSUMER WARNING

COMSUMER WARNING: Do not use this company! In October they happily took my $3000, promising I would receive my dining set by Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving came and went with no communication and no shipment, and we had to cancel our holiday plans.

I contacted the company, who unapologetically told me it was now due by Christmas. Again, the holiday came and went while my family continued to use a card table in the absence of the dining set I paid for over 2 months earlier.

I contacted the company again, this time requesting that my order be canceled and refunded, which they have so far not done. It seems I will have to open a dispute with my bank to get my money back and take my business elsewhere.

UPDATE in response to seller's comment: I have given my name in the multiple phone calls and emails I sent directly to the company. This review is meant only to warn other potential customers.

These positive reviews MUST be fake. Not sure how half these people are receiving their items no problem but the other half are having the SAME issue which is WE ARE NOT RECEIVING OUR GOODS!!! TOTAL SCAM. We ordered in July it is now DECEMBER. We have received nothing but been charged $4000 absolutely insane.

Product is worth the cost. Very many compliments and they delivered into our house and room we wanted. The quality of the boxes says a lot too IMO shows the level of care and attention shown to the furniture (ordered a table, bench, and coffee table).

I placed my order for a full set (table, bench and 4 chairs) back in Sept. 2024. The delivery was estimated for the week of Thanksgiving. I kept following up through their email contact system, but was getting no where. I finally decided to call Customer Service to figure out what the primary issue was for the delay. I have yet to receive my products, but just want to comment on the friendly and positive experience with their Service Representative - Kane.
Kane was very friendly, apologized for the delay, gave me additional information for the company issues, we made small talk and I walked away feeling less frustrated.

Delivery prolonged

Order: US-52853 Unfortunately, we ordered our table almost 6 months ago. We were told it would arrive before Thanksgiving (11/18/24). We had to cancel hosting Thanksgiving because it had not yet arrived. Supposedly it shipped by 12/1. Today is 12/21 and our products have not yet arrived. Transformer is giving us two chairs but we have still not received any updates on when our products will arrive.

Update - it was finally delivered 12/30 after several prolonged calls with the delivering agency and transformer. There was assembly required but so far the table is sturdy and nice.

Regarding the company’s response, my order number was Order US-52853 as noted above.

Replacement table panel

I’ve had my transformer table for 3 years and one of the panels was damaged by nail polish remover…it etched a circle into the panel. I contacted transformer table and they insisted they would send one to me for free. Sergio, the customer service rep in the warranty department was great to work with. Thank you

We ordered our table but no chairs

We ordered our table, bench and chairs in July with an expected delivery of end of October / early November. We only got the table and bench after thanksgiving in early December and we are still pending our chairs. We have had to consistently follow up with transformer who has given us no response on the update of our chairs after being told we’d expect a shipping tracking link by now. The communication from transformer team is zero. Very frustrating and would not recommend.
