Among the WNBA stars shaking up the scene is Los Angeles Sparks player Cameron Brink, whose style is in a league of its own. “It truly helps so much with my confidence and feeling the best version of myself,” the 23-year-old basketball rookie tells PEOPLE exclusively. (Although Brink is currently sitting on the sidelines as she recuperates from an ACL injury, she still dressed up for games and to cheer on her teammates.) Tyler Ross/NBAE/Getty Brink’s tunnel fashion is a true reflection of her daring style — and, surprisingly, the strong bond she has with her mom, Michelle Bain-Brink, who is a “huge deciding factor” on what she wears. “We're always on FaceTime and we're trying stuff on,” Brink says. “It’s fun and it's a passion of mine and to share it with my mom…we've always loved fashion.” Michelle, who studied at Virginia Tech on a basketball scholarship and went on to work for Nike, per Front Office Sports, is also full of fashion tips that Brink applies to her personal style.
