One of the biggest scam supermarkets I have ever come across. This is the last time I will ever use.. price increases I have witnessed double and even triple in price in the space of days or a couple weeks.
The substitute system is disgraceful... I am absolutely fed of ordering 3 x 1L bottles of listerine and receiving 3 x 500ml bottles of listerine as a substitute for the same price.
Fed up is an understatement.. I find it immoral and in my eyes I class it as theft.
Rules should be in place protecting the consumer from this corruption because that is what it is... disgraceful.
I advise everybody this supermarket is the worst with substitutes.. please do not shop here.

I will NEVER order from ASDA again
I will NEVER order from ASDA again. This is the second time I have placed an order for it not to be delivered. On both occasions my money hasn't been credited back to my account (one of £350 and now £250) I have had to contact Customer Service myself because they didn't contact me for an update. They are not very helpful at all, it took a number of WEEKS for investigations to be done and the first order to be refunded, I am still awaiting the second of £250. I have 2 disabled children under the age of 3, on both occasions I have been desperate for the groceries and living essentials I have purchased. This situation has caused me immense stress and inconvenience and has significantly impacted my mental health. I also made the customer service team aware of this and no resolution or compensation has been offered. As a single parent in a cost of living crisis this it totally unacceptable and shameful behaviour.

Going downhill rapidly
Going downhill rapidly. You can see why they lost business over Christmas. You try to put in an order, for delivery & getting on for 33% of the things you want are either not on the site or unavailable. YET they ARE on the shelf in the store that would be doing the delivery.
Customer service say "the site is updated every 24 hours so check back later".......!!!!!!!! I want to place the order NOW.
I will shop with Sainsburys, Tesco, anyone but ASDA..

By far the best online supermarket.
Items were well packed, with fruit being double-bagged, one 'sensible' substitute more than happy to accept, very long dates on all products, frozen items very well frozen, and good choice of products when ordering.
Furthermore, a very courteous delivery lady.
I have never had a problem with an Asda online grocery order. Far ,far better service than their competitors.

I have stopped using asda for my groceries for a few reasons…
The prices have shot up something alarming in recent years! The amount of profit being made… yet can’t provide carrier bags for home deliveries? Its ridiculous that I have to fill my arms with items & do several trips to the kitchen and back while the delivery guy awkwardly waits on my doorstep with the dog glaring at him.
Should not be offering items for sale that are not in stock! what a nightmare it is having to sift through all the ‘substitute’ items at the door, and half the items you ordered don’t turn up… it’s pointless doing the shop if you don’t stock everything I’ve paid for!
And drop the carrier bag police at the checkout! It’s embarrassing that a business as huge as asda are so concerned about people taking carrier bags…. Are they made of melted gold? #GREED

Hi all I have recently stopped shopping at Asda as for the last few months my shopping experience has really been a nightmare fighting my way around a store with aisles full of staff picking orders for home delivery pallets of products sitting in middle of the aisles staff picking empty cardboard from shelves very poor amounts of product on shelves I have been a loyal customer for years sad to say I now shop at Tesco who’s store always looks well stocked fresh and tidy which makes my shopping experience much more comfortable elgin

Great driver and delivery
It’s really sad to see the majority of the reviews are all 1* however I placed an order this morning and received my delivery tonight. The driver was an exceptionally lovely man, polite, friendly and very patient, even in -3 degree weather he stood and chatted. I’ve never had any issues with Asda delivery and will continue to use them! I hope he gets to see this review. Delivery tonight 11.01.25 to a house in Didcot from Swindon by Andy.

I've just done my last shop with Asda. I'm sick of the substitutes & the unavailable, most of the time alot of the shop Is substitutes. They are overpriced and they no.longer offer a service that warrants paying their prices. Aldis & even iceland are much better by far. Adsa don't care about their customers only about taking their money.

Wow - How Bad Can a Supermarket Get
Wow! Asda has become the worst supermarket of late. Ordered my Christmas shopping and every item was substituted or missing or wrong item sent. They have refused a refund and I have a load of food that I cannot eat. I am disabled and housebound so Christmas was already hard enough and I thought I would order some extra things as treats and then to not get them. Or my basic shop. Had no way to even contact them as I can't use the phone. They couldn't take things back at point of delivery. No apology, no way to follow up. I don't think Asda will be in business this time next year if this is how they treat customers.

I placed and express delivery order. They charged £8.99. Apparently, according to Asda, the Uber Driver stole the delivery. Spoke to Uber, someone went to pick the order up, but order wasn’t available for pick up. Uber are blaming Asda, Asda are blaming Uber. Absolutely disgusting, I was been trying to contact them, going round and round in circles. Finally was promised a call from a manager. Managers call never came, tried calling them back, manager refused to come on the call. No help!
Their deliver system should be shut down, if they can’t deliver what they promise. There should actully be a criminal case against them, from reading reviews this happens a lot!!!

I had 2 items delivered at 21.30 at…
I had a delivery at 21.30 at night, the use by date on 2 items was the following day and they have rejected my request for a refund. What I'm a supposed to do with that. Won't be using this service again ever in the future now.

Finally giving up with Asda
I am finally going to stop ordering from Asda. The drivers are frequently up to an hour late and on more than one occasion they have not turned up at all. Customer service are completely unsympathetic that you now have to try to fit in a trip to do your shop when they fail to turn up or the huge amount of unavailable items means you still have to go to the supermarket anyway. A huge amount of my Christmas shop is unavailable again today meaning I will have to go tomorrow. They are also predicted to not turn up until 11pm when I booked an 8-10pm slot. This will be the last time - lesson well and truly learnt. I would avoid them.
