Awful

Awful! Don't even bother visiting. It needs shutting down. No staff, no customer service.Wasted my Saturday afternoon driving 45 mins there, 45mins back as it is the closest one to me, paid for parking and walked to the shop. All I wanted to do is return my old broadband dongle which vodafone told me to do since upgrading my broadband with them or they would charge me £40 if not done within 30days.no option to post this which I think is terrible but that's another story. When arrived the guy on the front deskbwith glasses on said if I take a seat they would be with me 10-20mins. They literally left me sat in a corner of the shop for nearly two hours. An Asian guy to be fair was seeing to a customer and was doing his job. The white guy with glasses on was sat chatting about park life festival and oasis gigs he's been to to another customer instead of delivering customer service. Coming up to 2 hours of waiting and could clearly see he was just chatting rubbish the full time I was in there I asked him can I leave the dongle with him as my parking ticket was running out. He said he can't as I have to be there with some IMEI number. I gave him this and then he started saying the system was down and I should go back another day when they're less busy!!!??? Absolutely awful. I work in customer service for British gas and there is no way this is an acceptable way to treat customers. He then told me to ring 191 when I was leaving. Don't worry pal I will be doing......and complaining about you and your awful service!!!just waiting for them to charge me £40 now for not returning the dongle which they have refused to take off me in store and given me no other way of returning it. If and when they do I will be reporting them to the FSA as I do wonder how many other customers are being charged these fees for not returning equipment they're unable to return due to Vodafone's terrible customer service. I suspect they're making a lot of money out of this and it needs investigating.

Don’t use at all please

No even started yet and shocking.
Signed up for broadband in pc curry’s arranged for fitting on April 24th. We get a phone call April 13th they ask for name address and postcode to pass security, that’s fine for them. The connection is bad and couldn’t understand the person very well. But they asked to change installation to may 4th. After the phone call we decided this company is not for us, I call back then now ask for a PIN number and say our security question has not been set up, so they can’t cancel our contract that hasn’t even started yet. So for them to call and change a date name address and postcode was fine but not when we want to cancel. Then then blamed curry’s for this and told us to cancel the contract there.
We go back to curry’s who told us our security question is set up as they can’t process the order without it. Then they call Vodafone for us and they say we were miss advised and we now have to go to a Vodafone store with ID. We’ve not been yet but I have no hope. The man on the phone said if the store refuses that we have to turn the installers away on may 4th to cancel. After reading terms and conditions this can result in a fee. This company hasn’t even provide us with anything and is a joke and clearly a con.

John at Vodafone Ashton

John handled my request for a new SIM and amazingly saved me some money on all my other lines! He was very attentive, understanding and showed wonderful customer service skills. He is a great asset to the Vodafone team!!

2 new phones

Came in just for my husbands phone but John got me a great deal too, better than my current deal saving me money and giving me a newer car product upgrade

Wife had issue with phone not making…

Wife had issue with phone not making calls. Went into vodafone ashton and was greated by Viken who not only was able to resolve my wife's phone issue but was able to assist with contracts on my family phones in order to save us money and did all this with a smile and a very personable attitude. Makes my decision. To stay with vodafone very easy.

I had a lovely and easy upgrade on my contact and new phone with John at the Ashton under Lyne store, I had a issue getting back on my Vodafone app, this took John minutes, a very pleasant experience.

Excellent service from James

Excellent service from James. Only came in for help with transferring photos but walked away with better deals on our sims as a result. Shame we had only just signed up with broadband too as we'd have took with vodaphone

Visited Vodafone store today to enquire…

Visited Vodafone store today to enquire adding a additional line.

James who dealt with myself was exceptional. Added a additional line as well as bringing my current line rental down. Even explained their WiFi which is a lot better and cheaper than in paying at the moments. Definitely recommend.

Store in Ashton under lyne.

Good experience

I visited voda store on Sunday 11th Feb. I was greeted by James, he asked how he could help and I explained my query. James then went above and beyond to inform me of the best deals and ways in which he can help, providing me with a number of options. He was very knowledgeable about vodafone products and services and very professional. I left a happy customer.
