Meanwhile, Rachel is upset that her boyfriend has not written yet, whilst Jo becomes angry at her boyfriend, Robert, for writing too often. Jo decides to break up with him only to discover that her boyfriend is standing behind her. Jo then fixes her mistake by writing and performing a song dedicating her love for him, during which he hooks up with the executive woman, who specialises in elevator music.
