2nd year of using Insure and Go but renewing from an annual policy to a backpacker policy. Simple and easy to complete; covers all our requirements for a 5 month trip in various countries and does not heavily penalise for a minor medical condition. Highly recommended.

This company has been appalling. After a bad experience that ruined my holiday I put in a claim. This was about six weeks ago and since then I have only had an automated email saying they had my claim and would process it in due time. When I emailed for an update I got another automated email saying they would look at it again but please don't email again as it will slow the process!

*UPDATE*... I emailed claim number as requested the day the company responded.. however am still waiting to hear anything!!! It seems as though this company responds immediately to negative reviews on here but then fails to follow up!

UPDATE... Still not heard anything!!!! Funny how all the good reviews on this site are about them selling you something and all the bad ones are about you actually claiming, "using the product."

Bought insurance for my dad who is going on a big trip to Australia. He has medical conditions which made it difficult to find cost effective insurance. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The silver cover was comprehensive and cost effective

I have for the first time purchased insurance cover on line. I had a small query when I hit submit, I wasn't sure if I had purchased the policy or not as there was no response
so I dialled the telephone number and was reassured that it had not gone through at this stage, so the lady kindly stayed on line while I did the necessary to make the purchase.
Very helpful and courteous. So far - so good

My husband telephoned insure and go on Monday and gave all information requested.
Received our policy details to day only to find all medical information given was not
quoted. He telephoned to day to ask why this happened and had to go through all details once again. Surely In these circumstances your staff should be more careful when taking down details, and also did not quote correct monies to be paid. We have used insure and go for three years and rated them very highly to our friends, who have also taken out policies. Very disappointed that our information was not correct first time around.

i thought my partner had sorted out travel insurance and she thought i had. So when i saw this site i just had to use it. So many tarriffs and grades of cover to suit all pockets and travelers . Will be using them again and will be telling my friends and family.

I like to keep things simple so I arranged travel insurance through my travel agent when I booked flights for New Zealand. I was contacted later to be told that because of medical conditions and my age the premium would be increased by 200%!! I was not impressed. I had used Insure and go previously and knew their processes and systems were simple and efficient so made alternative insurance arrangements within minutes which caters for my age and covers my disclosed medical conditions at half the final price that was being quoted by the travel agent. I was impressed! I have never had occasion to make a claim but if their claims process is as efficient as the sales process then I will be a very satisfied customer.
