New interactive map on demonstrators for clean innovative technologies in energy-intensive industries

Find demonstration projects for low-carbon technologies in and around Europe on one searchable map.

Technologies include electrification, green hydrogen integration, carbon capture utilisation and storage, circularity and energy efficiency. They are demonstrated in plants in the chemicals, cement, steel, glass, paper, ceramics industries or in oil refineries.

The majority of projects are funded by the EU (through Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020 and the Innovation Fund).

The purpose of the map is to facilitate a discussion on accelerating the transfer and uptake of clean innovative technologies and private and public follow-up financing for their faster deployment.

The interactive map follows the publication of the report ‘Scaling up innovative technologies for climate neutrality in June 2023.
