This 5-day training course is designed for international primary and secondary teachers to enhance their understanding and application of game-based learning (GBL) and gamification in the classroom. The course provides a comprehensive overview of these methodologies, offering practical strategies to integrate games and gamification techniques into daily teaching practices. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, collaborative workshops, and reflective discussions, equipping them with the tools needed to create engaging, motivating, and effective learning environments.
Learning objectives
Understand the Principles of Game-Based Learning (GBL) and Gamification:
- Familiarize teachers with the theoretical foundations of GBL and gamification.
- Explore the differences between game-based learning and gamification and how each can be applied in educational settings.
Develop Skills to Integrate GBL and Gamification in Teaching:

The materials, digital tools, and other learning resources for this course on Game-Based Learning (GBL) and gamification are crafted to support an immersive, hands-on experience. These resources aim to provide educators with both foundational knowledge and practical tools for applying game-based approaches in the classroom.

Certification details
The participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course including their full name, project information, duration of the course (25 hours) and location of the course, according to the Erasmus+ standards.

Course package content:
The course fee includes 5 day of training, training materials and certificates, learning agreements and europass, pre-arrival and on-site assistance, and coffee corner. It is possible to request a budget for extra services like Accommodation, Airport transfers and cultural activities and trips.

Course fees:
If the participant cancels the course more than 30 days before the course commences, all fees will be refunded.
If the participant cancels the course between 30 and 7 days before the course starts, they will be refunded in a form of a voucher to be used for the future courses delivered within 12 months.
The course is non-refundable If the participant cancels 7 days before the course start date.
