This warranty company is the worse. I bought a newer truck in 2020 with low miles. Platinum warranty and they sure do like to find frivolous reasons to deny your claim. Im willing to bet they have a monopoly on the car warranty market. Horrible customer service and just a rotten company. My last 2 new cars i didnt buy extended warranty’s. Because of my experience with this company- i refuse to ever buy another warranty. Go to hell assurant!!!! Im still jaded by my last claim denial. I really should look into lawyering up to get a refund.

Would give negative stars if I could. My toilet malfunctioned end of September and caused a ton of water damage in my bathroom and bedroom. Apart from the initial filing of the claim, and sending out the mitigation team, it took over a month to get ahold of anyone, while I was reassigned at least 4-5 adjusters without any real contact. I finally had a reliable adjuster and was paid the first chunk of living expenses and the cash value of materials. My contractor and I both sent the estimate and two weeks later Assurant called and asked if I had the estimate. They got all my other correspondence though somehow? The agent was also annoyed I hadn’t started repairs, but I’ve literally been waiting to see if they approve the full estimate because I didn’t have the money to cover the difference if they didn’t. My in laws had to pay for an airbnb just so we could have a place to live. I re-sent the estimate, and proceeded to send it every day for a week, begging for some acknowledgment they received it this time. That was a month ago. I checked my claim status yesterday and it says closed. I’m still owed over $14,000. From Sept 26th-Jan 6th so far. What an absolute nightmare. I’m telling everyone I know to avoid this company like the plague.

Cliff, the repair, was very professional. He took the phone & told me to come back in an hour. We came back a few minutes shy of the hour & he had finished the repair. Cliff was polite, helpful & courteous. I would definitely recommend him and feel confident in his ability to do the repair needed. Thank you Cliff!!!

The staff was excellent! They were friendly and informative, answered all of my questions so I knew exactly what to expect. The gentleman i worked with i think his name is Joe he was awsome!! I would recommend there service to anyone there great!

Great Customer Service!

I've used other apartment insurance companies and haven't been happy with the customer service. Assurant's customer service is very responsive and easy to access.

Assurant was great but…

Assurant was great but the store we chose wasn't bad. They were very and respectful but lacked prioritization skills, otherwise it was a good experience.
