Fire safety in buildings |
1) To develop standards utilizing relevant existing work where available e.g. in ISO, IEC, CENELEC, CEC and EFTA assessing the fire behaviour of building products, components and elements of construction, 2) To develop standards for classification of products, components and elements of construction, appropriate to the fire risks related to their application, 3) To develop standards for assessing fire hazard and for providing fire safety in buildings.
