Creative leaders share who they’d nominate for Hall of Marketing Gold if given the chance

If you could nominate someone for Hall of Marketing Gold, who would it be?

That’s the question strategy asked top creative leaders Marilou Aubin, Anthony Chelvanathan, Alexis Bronstorph, Jordan Doucette, Mike Dubrick, Aaron Starkman and Carlos Moreno on the eve of the program being opened up, for the first time, to the public for nominations.

Starting today, we’re inviting the industry to tell us who they believe should be inducted into the HOMG, which recognizes a lifetime of acheivements in creative advertising. The 2025 inductees will join the likes of Marlene Hore, Paul Lavoie, Don Watt, Judy John, Frank Palmer, Jerry Goodis, Nancy Vonk and Janet Kestin.

Launched in 2022 – just as the Marketing Awards was preparing to turn 100 – the HOMG recognizes the creative powerhouses and agency builders revered by their peers for galvanizing the industry forward. An Advisory Board chaired by Steve Mykolyn will select this year’s inductees based on criteria that includes having inspired a culture of creativity, improved the calibre of the work, and gave back to the industry, nurtured talent and elevated Canada on the world stage.

The inductees will be recognized at the Marketing Awards gala in June, with the lifetime achievement awards presented alongside the competition’s winners in Advertising, Public Service, Design, Multicultural and Craft.
