If you can't find your AppleCare plan

Learn what to do if you can't find your AppleCare plan for your Apple product in My Support or in your device settings.

When you purchase your AppleCare plan for your device, the plan is typically registered automatically and can be found listed in My Support, Check Coverage, and in your device Settings app.

If you have already tried to find information about your AppleCare plan, consider the following situations.

Your AppleCare plan might not be linked to your Apple Account

If you are signed in to your Apple Account on your device, you might need to finish your AppleCare plan setup and link your plan to your Apple Account.

In My Support

Sign in to My Support, select your device under My Devices, and follow the instructions to link the AppleCare plan to your Apple Account.

On your Apple device

To finish setting up your AppleCare plan on your device, sign in to the Apple Account you used to purchase coverage.

  • On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > General > AppleCare & Warranty, then tap your device.

  • On your Mac, click the Apple menu in the corner of your screen. Choose System Settings > General > AppleCare & Warranty.

Follow the on-device instructions to link your AppleCare plan to your Apple Account.

Your plan might be linked to a different Apple Account

If you purchased your AppleCare plan for your device using a different Apple Account, your plan may be linked to that account. In My Support, sign in with the account you used to purchase the AppleCare plan. Then, look for your AppleCare plan under My Devices.

Your payment method was unable to be charged for your recurring AppleCare plan

If Apple is unable to charge your payment method on file for your recurring AppleCare plan payments, your coverage might expire or be canceled. You can update the payment method for your AppleCare plan. Make sure your AppleCare plan is linked to your Apple Account, then change or update your Apple Account payment method.
