In Final Cut Pro for iPad, open a project.
In the timeline, tap the clip you want to modify.
Tap in the toolbar, tap Effects at the top of the browser, then tap Audio (if it’s not already selected).
Swipe up or down in the browser to see thumbnails of audio effects grouped according to category (Spaces, Echo, Voice, EQ, and Levels, for example).
From the browser, do one of the following:
Drag an effect thumbnail over the selected clip in the timeline, and when the clip becomes highlighted, release your finger.
Tap an effect thumbnail, then tap Apply under the browser.
The effect is applied to the clip. (If you don’t hear any change to the clip when you play it in the timeline, you may have to modify the effect settings first. See Adjust audio effects.)
