Export passwords from your Mac to a file
You can export the password for an individual app or website, or all your passwords, to a CSV file.
WARNING: Passwords you export are not encrypted and are visible to anyone who has access to the file. After you import the passwords into another password manager, delete the file you exported.
Export the password for an individual app or website
Go to the Passwords app on your Mac.
Locate and select the account.
Choose File > Export Selected Password to File.
Click Export Password.
Choose where to save the exported password file, then click Save.
Export all passwords
Go to the Passwords app on your Mac.
Choose File > Export All Passwords to File.
Click Export Passwords.
Choose where to save the exported password file, then click Save.
Note: You can’t export Wi-Fi passwords, passwords you shared with a group (unless you created the group), or access to Sign in with Apple accounts.
