Hi everyone! I have an exciting update for this week’s blog. As a Copilot Product Marketing Manager, I’ve been exploring new ways to enhance productivity and streamline our workflows. Recently, I had the opportunity to dive into the new Copilot agent builder experience available in Business Chat, and I’m thrilled to share my insights with you.

What is the Copilot agent builder?

The Copilot agent builder is a no-code tool that allows anyone to extend Microsoft 365 Copilot with custom agents tailored to specific business needs. Think of it as creating specialized apps that run on your personal intelligent assistant, Copilot. These agents can automate and execute business processes, making your workday more efficient and productive.

How can you use it?

As a marketer, you can build agents for various scenarios such as campaign brainstorming, copywriting, branding guidance, and FAQs for products and licensing. Here’s how you can get started:

  1. Open Copilot in Business Chat: Navigate to the "Create agent" option in the right pane.Select “Create agents” to start building
  2. Describe your agent: Copilot Studio will guide you through the creation process. You can connect to your organization’s data or add other customizations.New to creating Copilot agents? Don’t worry. Copilot Studio will guide you.
  3. Publish and share: Once your agent is ready, click “Create” and share it with your team. You can access your agent in the right pane of BizChat or by @mentioning your agent directly in BizChat.

Click “Create” to publish your agent, and share with your team.

Why should you use it?

Here are some key benefits of using the Copilot agent builder:

  • Automate routine tasks: Save time by automating repetitive tasks and focusing on more strategic activities.
  • Enhance collaboration: Share your custom agents with colleagues to streamline team workflows and improve productivity.
  • Improve accuracy: Reduce errors by using agents to handle complex processes and ensure consistency in your work.

  • “Marketing Helper” to assist marketers in enhancing their skills and executing effective marketing activities by providing insightful, actionable advice and support.
  • “LinkedIn Post Creator” to draft LinkedIn posts based on URLs, helping you create engaging content quickly.
  • “Leadership Coach” to provide tips and scenarios to help you become a more effective leader at Microsoft.

    Dear paprud

Why is the "Create agents" option visible for user accounts even when agents are disabled by the Integrated Apps policy?
The user can build his agent and share it, but the recipients cannot use it (because the sender has no permission to create such an agent). It makes no sense that such users see the option to create an agent.
