First, it still has a serious bug. I read a message in my ieee.org (gmail) account around 8 this morning. I just checked (nearly noon), and it reverted back to being unread. This bug has persisted for many months.
Second, it uses huge amounts of memory. Task Manager shows it using around 500 MB, compared to around 170 MB for 365 Outlook. How do programmers manage to cut out many features, and lean more on online resources for their processing, yet create bloat in their code by a four-fold factor? I have five decades experience as a software engineer, and I can't imagine such awful programming.
Microsoft should be ashamed of this product. The app suite it replaces---mail/calendar/people---was much better. It may not have had "cool" (but mostly irrelevant) features, but it worked correctly.
