It seems (seemed) to me that with The New Outlook, Microsoft was targeting Windows Mail and Calendar, and anyone using live.com or other web-based eMail. But then I saw/read things that suggested that The New Outlook was also intended to replace the Outlook 365 (Office) desktop application. And recently within the Outlook 365 (Office) desktop application I got the invite to "Try the New Outlook".
As I read most of the comments posted above, it seems that most are coming from the Outlook 365 (Office) desktop application, and that's when/where most of the issues/disappointments lie. To me these are really two separate markets/sets of clients/users. (There might be few or no issues coming from Windows Mail when using a Live.com or other web-based mail account).
What's anyone else think about what I say here?
