Really saddened by this announcement.  Having owned and used a Surface continuously since the original RT, I've been waiting for a 11th gen CPU replacement for my Pro 5 for several months now, only to find that I can't buy one as a consumer.  After 9+ years of Surface tablets, it almost breaks my heart to think that I might have to move on to a different brand/product.
