New Managed Service Provider business.
Greetings all! I am not sure if this is the correct thread for this post, but any guidance on this would be great! I am a new organisation based in the UK and have registered to be a Managed service provider for IT services. I want to partner with Microsoft to receive their IT support request or incidents and to be able to provide either personal or business support to their customers/clients for Microsoft 365 technologies including Security, Office 365, Intune, Purview, etc. I am not sure where to begin from. Could someone please point me in the right direction to be a outsourced partner for Microsoft to handle their IT support requests? Thanks!CrestonVJan 24, 2025Copper Contributor19Views0likes1CommentMultiple issues under Partner Center
I'm experiencing several issues under the partner centre that may be linked. The AI Assistant and Support icon in the toolbar is not visible, but the link works. After completing a few details in the Assistant and the trying the Contact Support button, it does nothing. If I select the Help & Support menu option, I do not get any kind of 'raise new ticket' button I have the correct support permissions I'm trying to access these items because I cannot renew my MAPS subscription. I am informed that: "No billing profile linked to your Microsoft AI Could Partner Program account" There is a start button below, but when this is clicked, the output of the screen becomes disorganized, and there is no way of progressing. It's also not highlighted like a normal button would be - it's literally just plain text. So kind of stuck in a loop! I can't log a ticket to address the issues - and I can't renew either! Not sure what happens if my membership lapses - but could be a major inconvenience. Any suggestions?SolvedDigioJan 24, 2025Copper Contributor99Views0likes7CommentsEmployment verification problem
Although we've sent a Cloudflare domain renewal invoice with: Domain name Exact company name Exact address My within 12 months I can't get past this employment verification step. I've tried "Fix Now" and exhausted that, and support thread provided no help. What should I do?jmj1Jan 24, 2025Copper Contributor5Views0likes0CommentsNo reply from support on my case
Hello, Is the Services Hub for partners deprecated? I've created a case (2412110050003195) using my partner account mid-december 2024 and I still haven't been contacted by Microsoft about it. Could someone have a look at my request and at least give me a feedback ? Kr, GeraldGerald_MathieuJan 17, 2025Copper Contributor47Views0likes3CommentsAction Center - Items will not clear
Each time I login into my Partner account I have the following mandatory action item to complete: The frustrating part is that according to my billing profile the link was / is completed: And I know that this is correct as I am getting billed for Azure various services (i.e. VMs, Storage, etc.) Like another item that I am chasing down - I am unable to submit a Support Ticket due to what I refer to as the Ai loop - when I ask the system a question and it can't answer there is no option for me to continue with the Support Request submission.ingramqJan 15, 2025Copper Contributor46Views0likes4CommentsAbout Preconsented applications
Hello, I am trying to more effectively administrate our customers via Microsoft Graph API, and are trying to follow this guide: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/auth-cloudsolutionprovider This is where I don't get things working: Additionally, as a partner developer, you can build a partner-managed app to manage your customers' Microsoft services. Partner-managed apps are often called preconsented apps because all your customers are automatically preconsented for your partner-managed apps. This means when a user from one of your customer tenants uses one of your partner-managed apps, the user can use it without being prompted to give consent. Partner-managed apps also inherit Delegated Admin Privileges, so your partner agents can also get privileged access to your customers through your partner-managed application. I have attempted to use Microsoft Graph via Powershell, HTTP, both delegated and user-methods, nothing seems to be working. If trying Connect-Mggraph -ClientId "***partnermultitenantappid***" -TenantId "****customertenantid****", I get this error: AADSTS90099: The application '****' (*****) has not been authorized in the tenant '*****'. Applications must be authorized to access the customer tenant before partner delegated administrators can use them. This gets solved if I log in to the tenant directly and add the application as per normal. But that eliminates the whole point about something being pre-consented. I have followed all the steps and I have added the application as a serviceprincipal for the AdminAgents group, which I have confirmed is also assigned to the PartnerRelationship with all permissions. The Partner relationship has all rights minus Global Administrator as part of the steps of troubleshooting the issues ive encountered thus far. What am I missing? Again reading from the article: Partner-managed apps also inherit Delegated Admin Privileges, so your partner agents can also get privileged access to your customers through your partner-managed application. Final question: Is it only possible to authenticate to customer tenants with delegated authentication, or is it possible with even application authentication as well?joakimidlandJan 15, 2025Copper Contributor39Views0likes1CommentJoin the next IAMCP partner meeting January 23

I am downloading software from the Silver program and am wondering about the ones which require activation fees. When I select "Get Keys" will it provide me with a number of keys equal to the number of activations I have that I can use anytime I want to install the software? Or do I need to be ready with the software already installed when I get keys?Solved70Views1like3Comments
