I need to return to my classic Outlook. I need to turn off new toggle. I can't. Help
I obviously am not computer literate but I must get back to the classic Outlook. I have had my company email for years and it has the name of our company. The directions to get from the new Outlook to the classic are confusing. Please help if you can. Thanks1.3MViews1like82CommentsOutlook Password prompt disappears quickly
Good morning everyone, Over the past several months we've been experencing a very random issue where Outlook loses users credentials, and then when loading Outlook it prompts for the password, but goes away so quickly you don't have a chance to enter the password. Steps we have taken to resolve the issues. 1. We've cleared credential manager on the system 2. Repaired office (both quick and online). 3. Created new Outlook profiles (including deleting the .ost file). 4. Uninstalled/reinstalled Office completely. Most times it works itself out after a few days, but I don't get why this issue continues to happen. Any helpful tips? thanks in advanceSolved782KViews1like50CommentsOutlook Search not showing Recent Emails (December-2021)
Hi All, The outlook search option stopped working properly after WIndows10 update. The issue has happened after installing a security update from Windows (December 14, 2021—KB5008212). I had tried re-building the Indexing but it was same. Once the issue started I had searched for the solutions and finally found that recent Windows update has created the issue. I had uninstalled that particular update and the search issue was fixed. So let us know when the fix will be available for this bug?537KViews3likes381CommentsOpening PDF attachments in Outlook to default PDF viewer
My Outlook was updated to the newest version a few days ago and I'm having issues with opening PDF attachments in my default PDF viewer. Before, you could click the attachment in the email and get a preview but if you were to fully open the attachment it would open in my default application. Since the update, when i click on the attachment it pulls up the preview but the only way to actually open it is to save it to OneDrive, download to my computer, or print. In most cases I need to open the full attachment but not necessarily need to save it. Just review in detail and the preview is not working well enough for me. I'm not even able to rotate using the right-click and rotate. How can I change this to open in my default viewer and not in the message preview only?458KViews5likes33Comments- 423KViews0likes19Comments

Hello, We have AIP and in the last couple of weeks there are lot of complaints about people not able to send/open protected e-mails. E-mails either marked for "Recipients Only" or any AIP unified label that is set for "protection". I am sure this was all working until this last Outlook update.360KViews1like24CommentsOutlook for Mac 2019 - Search not working :-(

Hello guys, I'm currently trying to find a solution to implement in the company I work (I'm the IT Admin), so... Our administrative - the person who manages all the calendars from the CEO - needs a unified calendar from 3 different mailboxes (2 outlook and 1 gmail), I have extensively looked for ways to do this but always end up in manual procedures which don't make sense or paid add-ins. Ideally, every appointment/meeting received in all 3 CEO's mailboxes would sync directly to the administrative's PC. Just to picture this...so all the calendars from the mailboxes below: 1. ceo@contoso.com 2. ceo@contoso2.com 3. ceo@geemail.com into account: admin@contoso.com Is there a way to do this? Is it possible to create an automatic appointment/meeting redirection to different calendars? Thank you very much in advance! JCSolved296KViews2likes29CommentsIntroducing Scheduling poll in Outlook!
Announcing FindTime as a native feature in Outlook! We are excited to introduce Scheduling poll, bringing the capabilities of FindTime as a native feature in Outlook.Scheduling poll is currently available to all users of Outlook on the Web and Mac. It is available to Classic Outlook for Windows users in Current Channel, Monthly Enterprise Channel, and Semi-Annual Enterprise Preview. It is now available to Classic Outlook users on the Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel (Version 2308) as of January 2024, and will be available to the Semi-Annual Extended Channel later in June 2024. Users who do not have access to Scheduling Poll yet can either switch to the Current Channel, Monthly Enterprise Channel, or Semi-Annual Enterprise Preview in Classic Outlook for Windows; or they can use Outlook on the Web to create polls. Please goherefor more details on 'Scheduling poll' feature. What’s the same As we bring Scheduling poll directly to Outlook, users can expect to have a similar set of features and workflow as the existing FindTime add-in. What’s different Scheduling poll uses the same modern design and framework we use in the updated Outlook on the web and the new Outlook for Windows, making it easier to maintain and enhance for the future. Important: What is happening to the FindTime add-in? The FindTime add-in will stop working and be removed from Outlook for Windows, Web and Mac. Scheduling Poll is the replacement feature, which is built directly into Outlook clients for all users as a native feature. When this will happen: You can expect the FindTime add-in to stop working as early as December 11, 2023. We will start making the change on December 11, 2023, and expect to complete it by the end of that week. How this will affect your organization: Once the change has rolled out users will need to utilize Scheduling Poll as a replacement of the FindTime add-in. When will the new Scheduling Poll feature be available? Currently, Scheduling Poll is available to all customers worldwide for Outlook on the web and the new Mac Outlook, except for those in GCC High. It is also available to Classic Outlook for Windows users in Current Channel, Monthly Enterprise Channel, and Semi-Annual Enterprise Preview. It will become available to Classic Outlook users on the Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel in January 2024, and to the Semi-Annual Extended Channel in June 2024. What will happen to my current user experience? When your tenant gets the update, the native feature will be added to their Outlook ribbon replacing FindTime (see more details to access Scheduling Poll here). Users do not need to do anything, this change will happen automatically, and users will be able to keep creating scheduling polls as easily as before. FindTime Deprecation FAQs 1. What does the deletion of https://findtime.microsoft.com/ mean? A. This webpage provides information about how to use the FindTime add-in and given that we are replacing it with Scheduling Poll, we are deleting this page. When users try to access this page post 12/12/2022, they will be redirected to the polls dashboard - https://outlook.office.com/findtime/dashboard. The add-in itself should still function as is. It will not be deprecated until Scheduling Poll is released to all supported Outlook apps - in Outlook web, Mac and Win32. 2. What do I need to do to transition from FindTime to Scheduling Poll? A. Nothing! When Scheduling poll is rolled out to your tenant, the entry point to the FindTime Add-in will be hidden and you should see a button to open the Scheduling poll pane in the Outlook compose ribbon instead (more details here). We have made UX updates to help improve the experience. The functionality should remain the same and you should be able to create new polls just like before. 3. What happens to my existing polls? A. All the polls you created through the FindTime add-in should remain active and actionable through the voting page and the polls dashboard even if the add-in is deprecated and replaced by the Scheduling poll UI. The only thing that has changed is the way you create a poll.Solved290KViews6likes125CommentsMail & Calendar Apps Will Be Replaced with New Outlook for Windows December 2024

We have pushed all our users to use Outlook mobile apps on iOS and Android, however many are complaining that they have created rules on the Outlook desktop client to put emails in certain sub folders (i.e. all emails from my manager go into a sub folder) and not getting notifications. As the email is moved to the folder before it gets to the client, the mobile apps do not display a notification. As a work around I've had to set up some Flows so that if email received from a certain email address, it displays a notification. The user can then open Outlook and go to the relevant folder. Its not pretty. This seems like a basic feature, its available in the iOS and Android stock mail apps which most used before we pushed them to Outlook. Any plans on the mobile apps to have notifications for sub folders?253KViews20likes107CommentsOutlook/Office 365 loads wrong display name on To: field.
Hi Community, This is an annoying problem that has been happening where I work. It's not critical, but would be good to be able to fix it. We use Office 365 and have Outlook installed on all user PCs (win7). When typing the destination email/name on To: field, you will see the correct name [Berni..] and email [accounts@..] on the autocompletion list (picture outlook_01.png). However, after hitting <Enter> it will fetch a wrong name [Rachel..] (from the former employee that used that email, but no longer belongs to our organization) (picture outlook_02.png). If you double-click the name [Rachel..](picture outlook_03.png) you'll see that both name and email are actually correct. Just the display name that its messed up. If you send the email, it will go to the right mailbox as well. What I want to accomplish: To see the proper name [Berni..] on the To: field after selecting the mail item from the autocomplete list. What I tried to do so far: - local contacts overriding global contacts: checked but it's not the case, and the problem is happening on multiple computers - user profile on O365 admin panel/ exchange: checked, no evident problems.(picture outlook_04.png the forum only allows 3 attachments) - deleted autocompletion entries (single and everything). The same thing happens. I'm thinking of deleting themailbox and creating it again, but 1) There will be no fun 2) I would need to backup everything before. As it's a huge mailbox (and it will take a lot of time to do that), I'mhoping that a good soul out there with a trick under their sleeve would suggest me a better approach to fix the problem. Please let me know if you need any other info and thanks in advance for any replies. Cheers! :-)237KViews1like48CommentsHow to snooze an email in the desktop version of Outlook?
