Re: Outlook group calendar linking with teams channel?
The process above no longer works so I'm "unsolving" this request. It's a common one that is on the backlog. First a new calendar experience that allows you to see multiple calendars like Outlook and then items like this. I've wanted this myself for a long time. It will get there but I do not yet have a date.877Views0likes0CommentsRe: Can I schedule messages to be sent in teams?

Via LI Thread... It would be great to provide some clarity on where to have a defacto subscription directly with OpenAI or with CoPilot. We had a similar issue at our corporate enterprise where we decided not to go ahead with CoPilot as the licensing was confusing and stalled since our CICD ecosystem is Azure DevOps and not Github; this caused much confusion for many months in the early days, where the MS sales team pushed hard on CoPilot but could not deliver on its promise for Corporate Enterprises wanting to leverage the licensing model on Azure DevOps. The same issues may apply here with other platforms, such as Windows. We love CoPilot and had a successful trial. However, APAC hired +37 staff for presales and got smashed with volumes - by the time they got their ducks in a row, all the FY24 plans for our enterprise were done, so it was parked by our data engineering team. The M365 Chat experience is not related to the Copilot Studio license. As of today you can purchase a seat of Copilot for Microsoft 365 through your "Purchase Services" blade in the admin center. That will light up your M365 Chat application.4.3KViews1like2CommentsRe: View Microsoft 365 Calendar in Teams
Teams engineering has had this in the backlog for some time. Please comment or continue to upvote this item so it continues to bubble up in the monthly reviews. The left nav solution from Kelly only sorta works and is sadly unreliable. You often will end up at only your own calendar, not the group one. We will be preparing all that and more for you to download from the Adoption Hub Ben mentioned below. While I agree in some cases with Terence the why is laid out in those materials. You can in fact "do AI" from a productivity standpoint for sure. The whole point of Copilot is that has simple task oriented improvements to your day to day work. Stay tuned. We'll also cover all of that new content in our Champions call.1.1KViews1like0CommentsRe: Is there a great teaser video for a customer about to embark on their M365 journey to the cloud?
I like this one by one of our adoption partners Storyals. The old overview one was taken off the M365 YT channel. I'm mentioning this to our marketing partners. Here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ole5xROcQw781Views0likes1CommentRe: Modern Collaboration Architecture (MOCA)
HelloBenTeoh is right that Rishi is working on updates. We are planning to release them in the fall. The app also needs an update so I might pause on the application part. The overall framework is really helpful, especially for other champions looking for a way to explain, "what tool when".1.3KViews3likes1CommentRe: Is anyone using Viva Goals already?
Well I have comments as a user because we are using this on my team for OKR tracking. I do like the interface. It's been easy to train people on. It's more about (like any tool) how you organize the teams and OKR's so that they roll up to each other but I do like the Viva Goals adoption content as well. You can see more of that content plus roll out tools here toward the bottom of the page: https://adoption.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/898Views0likes0CommentsRe: Power Pages
Power Pages is for external websites that may (or may not) be connected to a datasource at a company like customer records, services, known issues libraries etc. The product is still in preview with customers but I think the best place to get more info is in their community which you can find here: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Power-Pages-Community/ct-p/MPPCommunity886Views0likes0CommentsRe: Ideas to get all internal Digital Champions together
Great thread... I wanted to add that when I ran the internal User Group at Microsoft monthly we always tried to highlight "new" features (whether new or not) based on a business scenario that people in the Champion team could relate too. Too often we train on the "tech" without connecting it to the business. So we'd highlight "How to Run a Marketing Campaign" or "Communicating your Wins with SharePoint News" and then provide some handouts. As the leader of the group it was my teams responsibility to figure this stuff out but we had help by asking each of the Champions to present things they'd learned. That helped us keep it fresh, gave people speaking experience and built trust among the members so they would speak up more readily. Another thing is that there is no substitute for setting a good example in how you use the tech yourself. If you aren't using Whiteboard, PowerPoint Live, Video embeds or SharePoint News - start now. Also lots of first party apps to embed in Teams like Forms and Polls to "show by doing" Lastly, if you are in person - never underestimate the power of FOOD or SWAG at a meeting. Even something inexpensive like stickers is great. Worked for me every time 馃檪 Good luck and tell us how it went!890Views1like0CommentsRe: Tangible arguments of the added value of a Microsoft Champions community
I love Kirsty_McGrath_MVP response and there's another component though harder to quantify and it is employee engagement and morale. I've been involved in larger companies that will measure this on a quarterly basis. Questions like, "I feel like my organization invests in my skills." and using a "Strongly disagree" to "Strongly Agree" or 5 star scale will get a baseline for how people feel about the organization actually creating space for learning and prioritizing investment in talent. Measuring talent investment is a part of the People First Strategy motion that Microsoft is deeply invested in. Our other research shows that organizations drive cost efficiencies by investeing in existing talent rather than facing employee turnover due to poor engagement. I encourage everyone doing this work to include employee engagement, talent retention, employee satisfaction measures in their ROI calculations. Lastly, creating opportunities for people to extend their careers as subject matter experts in a particular technology is also desirable. Putting that together with help desk ticket deflection and license usage makes for a broader picture of the RoI IMHO 馃檪1.5KViews2likes1CommentRe: I'm excited for the Power Platform Conference! Will you be there?
Welcome to the Microsoft community! I'll certainly be there in Orlando and hope to get to meet you and so many others in person. I'm sure you know but there's a thriving community online for Power Platform and you can pick your favorite flavor at https://powerusers.microsoft.com/ Under the Community tab you can find them all. Good luck and keep building!588Views0likes0CommentsRe: Champions Management Platform: valuable or too much manual work?
I think it's important to separate the Tournament of Teams (ToT) from the core value of the Champion Management Platform (CMP). There are over a thousand large scale customers using CMP, along with Teams and our other best practices to provide visibility and a center of gravity to their Champions. While I appreciate ToT I think it's important to note that supporting the Champions, having them be recognized and ensuring that they get visibility for their participation in driving adoption is the most important thing. There are other ways, some from our Partners, to gamify usage but a Champion's is worth their weight in gold especially when people across the company can easily find them. We have also had several customers utilize CMP to track/drive visibility for other types of Champions or Coach's across a company like for new hire buddy programs or accessibility. So the core of CMP is flexible and that is a part of its success. Thanks!1.3KViews1like2CommentsRe: Anyone Know IF or WHEN Microsoft will fix the bullet-point bug in Teams?
Hey there... I'm going to copy/move this thread to the Teams' forum to see if it gets more traction there. Also I'll ping our Quality lead in messaging to see if this is a known issue. Am I correct in your statement that this happens in both 1:1/1:Group chat and channel messages?3.3KViews1like2Comments
