Admin Center

I have this weird issue with WAC atm I have a server which has RBAC enabled, my non-admin domain user; called for example Pete is added to the admin group (so he cant use powershell etc...) When I try to access the server as Pete using WAC, it says my credentials didn't work. Here comes the weird thing: I can access the server as for example my domain admin. If I first do that, go back to the main screen and click menage as and then fill in Pete's credentials it works, with the limited access to the server as the role described. Is there a solution for this?31Views0likes0CommentsTranslated Viva Connections dashboard cards work as duplicates
We currently face the issue, that our translated dashboard cards in the translated dashboard.aspx work as duplicates. So when we make changes in a translated dashboard card, the changes also show up in the original language - which doesn't make sense at all. To build the translated dashboard completely from scratch can't be the solution, right?163Views0likes1CommentViva Connection app not displaying some cards cards
So, I am trying to get the viva connections app setup and working in teams. I have a couple main issues. 1. Some cards just don't want to display. For example, the Insights praise card, in the designer I get a message saying praise isn't turned on, when I publish the card just has spinning icon and eventually seems to time out. Notem this is just in teams. If I go to the SharePoint page on the web, and view the dashboard, it is fine. Even when designing I don't get such errors and praise not being enabled. 2. The viva connection menu, just shows a spinning circle. I don't get link to the other viva apps. even though they are installed already in my teams, I can browse to them. If I switch to the "new" team's experience. I have tried clearing cache, etc. If I switch to the "new" teams experience it works better (mainly the menu). But I still have issues, for example the cards are still a mess. hoping someone has some thoughts.Solved1.4KViews0likes8CommentsRole assignment to non administrators
Hi All How can one assign permissions for non-admin users to setup viva connections without granting them SP Admin? Our internal comms department will be responsible for certain tasks to setup viva connections for our organization, but we can't give them admin roles. Hi everyone! I have encountered an issue with the new Exchange Online Admin Center. In the old admin center, I could easily view and validate quarantined mobile device details, allowing me to make informed decisions about allowing authentic devices to connect to Outlook App. However, in the new Exchange Online Admin Center, when I navigate to the user mailbox and click on "Manage Mobile Devices," the quarantined devices are displayed but without any device information. This lack of information makes it challenging for me to allow or remove a device from quarantine effectively. I am unable to view the last sync attempt or any other device details. I kindly request assistance from Microsoft regarding this matter as it poses a potential security breach. Please take a look at the attached screenshots for reference. In the old admin center, I could view device details, whereas the new admin center only offers options to Allow, Delete, Block, or Wipe the devices. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Solved3.2KViews0likes5CommentsAssigned Phone Number field grayed out (Teams Admin Center)
We use Direct Routing. Being able to assign a phone number directly on the Teams Admin Center web page has never worked for us in the past. The Assigned Phone Number field was always grayed out (but we COULD assign a Voice Routing Policy with no issues). BUT...Several weeks ago we noticed the option to assign a phone number was now available to edit (the field was available to type in and we could successfully add a number there). But as of about a week ago, the option to assign a phone number is grayed out again. We CAN assign the number in PowerShell like we did in the past, but that's very inconvenient because we have to remote desktop to a Windows Server and then authenticate once again with our Azure admin account when we connect to Teams (Import-Module MicrosoftTeams and then Connect-MicrosoftTeams). Is there some reason why this field was available in the Teams Admin Center and then taken away again (not available to edit in the Teams Admin Center)? Very frustrating. 😞Solved5.3KViews1like6Comments
