Hello All, Since few months I am able to see " No Data Available " status in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) console under security.microsoft.com-> reports-> device health -> Microsoft defender antivirus health. Please see below screenshot. I have tried to troubleshoot with Microsoft support however as of now there is no any resolution since lot of months. Affected devices in no data available are combination of Windows 10, Windows 11, Linux, Win server 2019, 2016, 2012R2 as well as 2008R2. PS: - I have referred to Microsoft's public article below for this issue and have met all the requirements. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/defender-endpoint/machines-view-overview Any kind of solution would be much appreciated by the community! There has been a long-standing compatibility issue between Outlook and Google. After every update, Outlook users face various problems, particularly with Google-based email servers. This situation significantly frustrates users and negatively impacts their productivity. Many businesses rely on Google's infrastructure while choosing Outlook as their email client. However, this lack of compatibility between the two platforms creates challenges for both individual users and organizations. It's high time these tech giants resolved this issue. Users who depend on Google-based email servers and have invested in Outlook are left deeply disappointed by these recurring problems.22Views0likes0CommentsCan you embed a Forms survey into an Outlook email?
Hi, For convenience and design considerations, I would like to incorporate a Forms survey with 7 questions into an Outlook email. Is this a possibility? At a later date, I would like to improve the output and distribute it around my organisation. I am seeking for improved ways to disseminate user-friendlysurveys. Right now, the only option I see is the poll tool, which only allows for one question or stars. Or a hyperlink, which people are less likely to use. The new Groups experience will become the default groups experience in Microsoft Outlook on the web and new Outlook for Windows. Outlook now has a new home for Microsoft 365 Groups - one central destination for users to connect, communicate, and collaborate with their teams. This new Groups experience includes the following benefits: New Group Home: Users can now stay updated on their groups, including recent files across the groups, and quickly access frequently used groups and find new ones based on their interests. Users can find quick links to get to files, emails, events, and member management for Groups from the Groups Home itself. Once inside a specific Group, users can create, consume, and share information related to a group, as well as manage events and members efficiently in fewer clicks. Users can find recommended actions including member approval and storage management across the Groups Home The hideFromAddressLists and hideFromOutlookClients properties are used to control the visibility of Microsoft 365 Groups. Here's a brief overview of what each property does: hideFromAddressLists: When set to True, this property hides the group from the Global Address List (GAL). When set to False, the group will be visible in the GAL. hideFromOutlookClients: When set to True, this property hides the group from the Outlook left-hand navigation and prevents the group name from resolving during message creation. It also sets hideFromAddressLists to True. When set to False, it makes the group visible in Outlook and the GAL. These properties can be managed via the Microsoft Graph API, providing more flexibility for customization through Power Automate and third-party applications. #Outlook #Groups #Microsoft365 #MPVbuzz #MicrosoftOutlook #M365Groups212Views1like0CommentsChange the message by adding a new member in a MS Group
Hello, I would like to know if Microsoft offers a feature that either prevents a new member in a Microsoft 365 Group from receiving an email when a new he is added. Or it is possible to customize the email body sent when a new member is added.Solved29Views0likes2CommentsQuestion about Team/Group Calendar
I’m curious if anyone has any answers or suggestions for the following scenario: Within my organization, I’d like to create a single M365 team containing all departments. Within MS Teams, each department would have its own Channel under that one all-encompassing team, where they could schedule meetings, communicate, share files, etc. Each department has roughly 5 team members and there are 8 departments, so let’s say this all-encompassing team will contain 40-45 members total. Each department schedules weekly status meetings. My vision is to have a single shared calendar containing weekly status meetings of all departments, and I’d like for all team members across all departments to be able to see that shared calendar, but here’s the challenge: I don’t want each team member to have all department meetings display on their own work calendar, so they’re not confused as to what meetings they actually need to join versus just be aware of, but only display meetings they are individually invited to. I would however like if they had the ability to see all team meetings if they are looking at the greater Team/Group calendar in Outlook. I also don’t want all team members to be notified about other department/channel meetings, for example if it’s cancelled or rescheduled. I only want them notified about meetings they as an individual are invited to. Is there functionality or workarounds that support this scenario? Thanks in advance! Can't license 365 groups anymore
Ever since group based licensing was moved from Entra to 365 admin, it's no longer possible to apply licenses to to 365 groups. This is clearly broken and needs fixing. What's the process to raise this with Microsoft? I tried using Graph but that's also broken, even when following the MS doc. I raised a support case but they guy that called back was absolutely useless, didn't even know what I was talking about.149Views0likes3CommentsProper licensing for dynamic membership groups with the memberOf attribute.
Hello, because Microsoft premium licensing in MS Entra is too confusing and problematic I would like to be informed about proper licensing while using dynamic membership groups with the memberOf attribute as this article describes:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/users/groups-dynamic-rule-member-of, This function is available only for synchronized identities with premium licenses or just one premium license for a whole tenant is enought? I assume we need only one premium license based on this (from the official documentation): You must have a Microsoft Entra ID P1 or P2 license for the Microsoft Entra tenant. However I want to be sure because with one premium license we have all premium features unlocked in MS Entra ID . This means we need to be really careful and take care of compliance which is from my point of view very unfortunate. Microsoft put heavy burden on their tenants because of this licensing approach. It would be very nice to develop system/feature/policy which will take care of it or at least notify tenants that they are not compliant.Solved51Views0likes1CommentCan't license 365 groups anymore
