Sender Rewrite
Hi, I'm looking at a scenario where a company has two Microsoft 365 tenants for different divisions in different countries. The issue is that they need to be able to have external email addresses with the same domain. Apparently this is a fairly common requirement when a corporate acquisition occurs (though most commonly for a short period until migrations can be done), so it seems it should be possible. There are various options for incoming email that seem to work such as email forwarding between tenants or an external forwarding service like improvMX (though it seems from what I'm reading there may be some DMARC issues associated with this approach?), the issue is giving outgoing email the correct "from" domain. Searching on the subject seems to touch on various possibilities, Exchange Edge Transport Server, SRS in Office 365, and even postfix, but it's all a bit unclear what is current, what is built into Microsoft 365 itself (obviously not postfix) or indeed what actually does what I'm looking for. So I'm hoping to avoid going down too many rabbit holes and dead ends by asking here.
outlook 365 set categories in admin center possible?
Hello, We're using Office 365 we have problems on multiple iMacs with the Outlook app. The colors of the categories sometimes disappear en sometimes different colors are suddenly popping up. It's happening on older iMac as on new ones as well. After a fresh install sometimes it works again for a while but then they'll start disappearing again. Very annoying and more people seem to have the same problem. Now I want to set the categories in the office or exchange admin center, but I cannot find out where I could do this. Hopefully when we set the categories for the whole company, hopefully the problems won't come back again. I think it might have something do also with delegated mailboxes but all people using them have all the rights. We're using the legacy Outlook while the new Outlook does show only a very few of our IMAP folders Hopefull you can help us out here, thanks!
Self Service Reset password (SSPR)
Hi I have an odd situation with random users. When SSPR is enabled for them, they cannot login email on their iPhone corporate Intune device, is pushing the login to conditional access trusted locations blocked. Email works just fine with SSPR disabled. Anyone experience something similar.Upgrading from M365 Bsuiness Basic to Exchange Online Plan 2 pricing question
We are migrating from Google Business to O365. Several users are over the 50GB size. I requested our Microsoft Partner to upgrade these users to a 100GB plan which they said the following, "Users would need to keep the M365 business Basic and then assigned the Exchange Online Plan 2 license to increase the mailbox storage. So it would be the current $6/month + the $8/month = $14/month" Wouldn't this be an upgrade and be $8 a month a user? Why would we need to keep the E1+E2 plan? Is this pricing plan correct? New Office365 SB licenses for an existing contract
I have an active ESD MS Office 365 Buisness license plan of 35. Now we need to buy additional 5 ESD MS Office 365 Buisness Standard licenses. There is an option to add licenses in the Panel, but will it increase my total from 35 licenses to 40? Will it just change to the 5 available licenses?
DLP Exception for "Permission Controlled" Not Working (Microsoft Purview | RMS Template | Encrypt)
Hello, We are in the process of moving some of our mail-flow / transport rules over to Microsoft Purview. We don't want the DLP policy to apply when people click their "Encrypt" or "Do not Forward" buttons (RMS templates; OME encryption.) Putting "Permission Controlled" in the exceptions group should theoretically let the emails go through.The exception we have for when people put "Encrypt" in the subject line works (we have a mail-flow rule that encrypts those emails.) But actually clicking "Options" > "Set permissions on this item" > "Encrypt" doesn't remove the policy tip on an email draft, and people are unable to send the emails. Can someone verify that this rule is constructed properly? If so, we may have to reach out to Microsoft Support. Thank you so much for your time and help!
Disable "Keep Your Account Secure"
Hi, i'm having issue when to sign in email in web browser & device , it show "keep your account secure" after i have key in the password. i already disable security default in Azure Active Directory Admin Centre> Azure Active Directory> Properties> Manage Security Default> "no" and save but the proble still persist.
