We have various surveys that we send to client using an external survey provider. I am investigating the ability to satisfy our needs by using MS Forms. One requirement we have is the ability to have a weighting tied to our questions as I have specified below. We would like to capture the scoring value in the Excel document behind the Form for easy tabulation. Can someone guide me as the whether this is possible? Thanks. Question: How was the quality of service you received? 1. Superior (worth 100) 2. Good (worth 80) 3. Average (worth 60) 4. Poor (worth 40) 5. Terrible (worth 0)17KViews0likes7CommentsDrop-down/Choice field maximum number of options
I keep finding different answers as to how many options can be saved in a single question. Found one that says up to 344 and another as low as 60. One of the questions has 110 options. Can enter up to 97 before getting the message "Please reduce the number of question options or text in title/subtitle to save your changes." Our agency started using Forms more and more recently and bound to get questioned as how many options they can enter. I'd like to find out the official answer to this question but can't find any from Microsoft sites. We're on GCC and below pages didn't mention limit on choice field. Form, question, response, and character limits in Microsoft Forms - Microsoft Support GCC information - Microsoft Support I also checked the number of characters (question + subtitle + all the options), it was less than 2,500 and the site page above says 4,000 characters limit per question. When I did my own test, on a new form, I stopped at 250 options and form was saved. However, I only clicked the 'add' button this many times and did not actually enter any values.14KViews0likes2CommentsClicking on an email address in a drop down list opens up Outlook
I have a form with one of the fields being Email Address (~100 entries). When our users get to this drop down, the list is shown as a hyperlink list of email addresses. Naturally, when they click on a selection, it opens Outlook rather than selecting the choice. The workaround right now is to click on the space after the email address. Is there a way to disable the hyperlinks so that the emails show as plain text?6.8KViews0likes17CommentsTransfer form Ownership to another personal user
Hi there, since I'm going to be unavailable for a couple of weeks I would like to transfer ownership of an internal form to another user who's taking over for me. I can only find the solution to transfer it to another group which is not suitable for my issue. How may I transfer ownership to another personal user?55KViews0likes10CommentsLikert scale order of statements
I have created forms with Likert scale that has 19 statements. Each time I open the form the statements are in random order. I have numbered the statements and need these to be the order I set but it is not the case. First I thought this happens when I make a copy of the form but today I realized that the order had shuffled even without me editing the form.2.5KViews0likes5CommentsMS Forms polls/quizzes: live presentation
HI there Is it possible to create a poll/quiz with multiple questions but where the presenter has control as to when to progress through the quiz? I.e. all respondents answer q1, presenter presents results, then everyone moves onto q2 etc. Thanks Joe587Views1like3CommentsRetrieving a Form in draft
Hi, I'm having some issues with users who are having issues seeing data that they have entered into a Form. They are not signing in as anonymous and I've been advised that a draft is saved up to 30 days from the last edit. So if they are signing in with the same credentials and using the same link to the Form, should they be able to see information they have previously entered and update this prior to Submitting?? Any assistance would be gratefully received Chris34Views0likes1CommentMsn partner hub program Invitation code inquiry

Hi all, I have just joined these forums and this is my first post. Is it possible to do the following with Microsoft Forms and if so, how?:- Create a form in Microsoft Forms with 4 multiple choice questions. Each answer/option for each of these questions has a number of points allocated to it, for example, option1 has 10 points, option2 has 20 points and option3 has 30 points etc. (See below) Question:- "What is the size of the audience for your in-house training?- Select one answer: Option1:- 100 - (10 points) Option2:- 500 - (20 points) Option3:- 2000 - (30 points) Option4:- 10,000 - (40 points) The user does NOT see how many points are allocated per possible answer and all the other questions are like this. Once the user has selected their respective answers, they are required to click a SUBMIT button at the bottom of the screen. Depending on how many points they have accumulated, they will see a different feedback screen, for example, if they have just "scored" 40 points, they will see the FIRST information/feedback screen with some text, a link and a graphic (if possible). If they have scored 60 points, they will see the SECOND information/feedback screen. This also applies if you get 80 or 100 points and you get different feedback depending on how many points you have "scored" as this form has a branching methodology with the form itself linking to 4 different screens or HTML pages with this feedback. Now million dollar question as before... Is this possible? If so, how can I do this and do I have to use some other kind of technology like Power Automate etc in conjunction with Microsoft Forms. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance. Keith110Views0likes1Comment
