Re: Free the original Surface Hub
Upgrading the original Surface Hub (v1) can be a bit more challenging compared to the Surface Hub 2S, but there are still some options to enhance its performance: Upgrade Options for Surface Hub (v1) 1. Software Updates Ensure your Surface Hub is running the latest software updates. Microsoft provides updates for the Surface Hub through Windows Update, which can include performance improvements and new features1. 2. Replacement PC Connections The Surface Hub (v1) allows for connection to an alternate PC. This can be useful if you want to use a more powerful external computer to drive the display and other peripherals2. 3. External Peripherals You can enhance the functionality of your Surface Hub by connecting external peripherals such as additional cameras, microphones, or speakers. This can improve the overall user experience, especially in larger meeting rooms2. 4. Operating System Upgrade While the Surface Hub (v1) is designed to run Windows 10 Team, you can explore the possibility of installing a different operating system like Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise. This would require significant technical expertise and may not be officially supported3. Steps to Connect an Alternate PC: Power off the Surface Hub and disconnect all cables. Connect the alternate PC to the Surface Hub using the available ports (e.g., DisplayPort, HDMI). Configure the alternate PC to use the Surface Hub as an external display. Power on both devices and ensure they are properly connected. Would you like more detailed instructions on any of these options or have any specific requirements in mind?333Views0likes2CommentsRe: Ninja Cat Giveaway: Episode 4 | Defender Experts for Hunting Overview

Chris_Urban Yes would also have feeling what you are saying but then you get many errors in the status for system account and then reports give wrong impression about the status. When i do it for user targeting then everything is honkey donkey and reports look good. Maybe this is something that microsoft can change, is also a known problem and discussed in the techcommunity.microsoft.com topic.Compliance Policy in Intune, Device assigned or User assigned?

Last week I received my Surface Book 3, I already had a Surface Docking (PF3-00005) and use it now with the Surface Book 3 I see with two external monitors attached that GPU 0 (Intel Iris Plus) only is used and the GPU 1 (NVIDIA GeForce 1660i ) is not used at all. Also the second external monitor is only detected as Digital Flat Panel (640 x 480) the first external monitor is correctly detected. Can it be that i have to use the newer Surface Docking 2 with the Surface Book 3?2.2KViews0likes1Comment
