Guest access for Teams live event new policy
Hi all, I recently noticed that Microsoft changed the error message for Teams live event. Anybody know when this changed? It's regarding the text I underlined in blue. The red part was always there but the blue is new (for me). I can't find documentation on this policy and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks.653Views0likes0CommentsRe: Graph API to add/edit/delete Bookmarks, QnA and Locations
captainkirkwoodI've been waiting for this roadmap item since Sept 2020. But it's hopefully going to be enabled in August 2021. See the roadmap item below: Graph API to add/edit/delete Bookmarks, QnA and Locations - Microsoft Tech Community I checked the Graph explorer but I don't see it yet. If you run into anything regarding this topic let me know.2.6KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Is it possible to disable subsite creation in a modern team site?
It seems that settings in the classic Admin site don't impact modern sites very often. In the new admin center you can disable the overall creation of sites but it doesn't have a subsite creation feature (YET). I would expect to see it there because you can also see Groups in this admin center while you can't do that in the classic. It's really a transition phase from Classic SP Admin center to the New Admin center.13KViews1like0CommentsRe: SharePoint Access Request Ignoring Default Group
I'm also waiting for a fix for this. It seems that the Outlook action still gives users individual Edit/Contribute permissions (which is logic for a Group Permission) but not for SharePoint permissions. Using the original message gives a solution for the mean time but I hope Microsoft fixes this soon!13KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Any Improvements to Site Invitation ?
The approval for Office 365 Groups is working as is but that works via Outlook. Nothing wrong there. However when request access to a SharePoint site (Classic or Office 365 Group) the permissions get set on the SharePoint site (fair enough). Also here it's logic but what I don't understand is that when you have a default group (in my SC it's the visitors group) I still get an Approval for "Edit" permissions (Not expected). In the approval list on SPO this is set by default to the default group (expected!). It seems the approval is set to modern where "Edit" is a logic choice but Microsoft hasn't implemented the alternative choices.635Views0likes0CommentsRe: SharePoint Online activities not logged in CAS
HiDeleted, I'm seeing the same thing not only for SharePoint Online but also for other things like Sway or device/network access policy. I was hoping to find an overview of all the Audit log features compared to (M)CAS. I found one for the Audit log but not for CAS. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Search-the-audit-log-in-the-Office-365-Security-Compliance-Center-0d4d0f35-390b-4518-800e-0c7ec95e946c#PickTab=Activities Hope someone has an answer for this.3.2KViews0likes0Comments
