Re: Touchback not working with USB-C display (Surface Hub 2S)
Hi jo-chemla, Ok, I see what you mean. This feature is not enabled by default in Windows 11 so you will need to do this first. Note that you will need to open the Connect app manually as this is when Windows starts broadcasting its availability to receive a wireless projection. For the USB-C video ingest, this is currently not available on the Windows 11 IoT with MTR experience but I highly recommend providing feedback from your device as this feature might be added in the future. Thank you Cezar44Views0likes1CommentRe: Touchback not working with USB-C display (Surface Hub 2S)
Hi jo-chemla, Yes, MTR stands for Microsoft Teams Room. You can log in in Windows with your Administrator account and open the Connect app when touchback is required. However, for security reasons, this is not recommended and the design of the MTR Experience is not designed to work in this scenario. Since Microsoft is always looking for feedback on how the products are used in order to improve them, it would be great if you could provide feedback from your device (question mark at the bottom right of the screen). Also, to switch to another video input, the button for that is located next to the volume buttons as shown here. Hello jo-chemla, If you're using Windows 11 IoT with MTR experience, currently USB-C connection doesn't support touchback. Currently, you will need to switch to USB-C input to use the Surface Hub as a secondary monitor. This is because the Connect app is no longer available with the MTR experience. The recommended way to project to the Surface Hub which includes touchback is to use Teams Cast and enable remote control. However, the most common scenario when you would need touchback is during a Whiteboard session. If this is your scenario, it's best to start a Whiteboard session as described in this article. sashank12 I don't believe it's the same article. You can remotely push this configuration via PowerShell or GPO as described here and there's no reference to Intune. If you need help with this type of configuration, please raise a service request and we should be able to assist you Thank you, Cezar286Views0likes0CommentsRe: Surface hub 3 MTR wallpaper with Intune
Hello sashank12, The article you mentioned applies for Surface Hub running Windows 10 Team Edition. If you have a Surface Hub 3 or a Surface Hub 2S running Windows 11 IoT with MTR Experience, you should reference this article instead. Hello TimHoelsken, Can you try to press and hold the volume button after the Windows logo shows? Make sure you don't hit the button before this. Also note that this issue will be corrected shortly so make sure your device is up to date. You can also change the boot order and select USB as first option, given that you can enter UEFI. Hello Harvy202020, Please reference this article for the reset process. You can download the MTR-W image (Surface Hub 3) and extract the contents onto a USB drive, as you would for the Windows 10 Teams Edition. Thank you, Cezar224Views0likes0CommentsRe: Surface Hub 2S Teams has no buttons?
Oscar_Lechuga As the error suggests the device is using an older version of Teams and for security reasons sign-in failed. Please make sure you configure your network as per this article to allow the app to update. As a quick fix, you can connect the device to an open network or a mobile hotspot. If you still have issues, please open a support case here. Thank you, Cezar325Views0likes2CommentsRe: Installing 3rd party apps directly to surface hub hard drive
Hello Mrajpoot, If you are using Surface Hub Teams OS, please familiarize yourself with this article to understand the concept of the device and how it's intended to be used. However, if you have installed Windows 11 Pro or Enterprise as detailed in this article, it will not be any different than as you would do it on a regular PC Thank you, Cezar1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: microphone not working in Teams for Surface Hub win10
Hello, The driver and firmware come preinstalled so this seems like a hardware issue. Best if you open a support ticket to confirm and repair. Alternatively, you can use an external microphone from this list: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/surface-hub/surface-hub-certifications#microsoft-teams-certified-audio-accessories Best regards, Cezar789Views0likes3CommentsRe: Surface Hub 2S - Microsoft Teams Room on Windows (Software Update)
Hello Nik_Hamon, As mentioned above, the migration process from Windows 10 Teams edition to MTR-W is not yet available. The image you mentioned can be used to reinstall a device that was purchased with a Surface Hub 3 pack, but it cannot be installed on a Surface Hub 2 for now. Thank you, Cezar3.1KViews0likes2CommentsRe: "Something went wrong and we couldn't show that page" error in Teams for Surface Hub
The error messages above shows that the device account authentication failed. Entra (Azure AD) Sign-in logs should show the cause. Please check this article for more details or raise a support ticket for further assistance. Thank you, Cezar1.7KViews0likes0Comments
