Re: Team Calls - screen layout
Dear msft Do you think you could revert with the same amount of consultation as you seemingly did before you made the change, at the same gung-ho speed and then, when deployed, then come back and do the survey you should have done in the first place? I.e. don't decide to do a survey NOW when it will only serve to delay the reversion! Thanks, looking forward to your survey sometime in July10KViews4likes1CommentRe: Team Calls - screen layout
And here's another thing ... Since the release of the "improved" UI, I now find my call history on my laptop and the call history on my mobile don't come close to showing the same events! Mobile is listing calls I know I made, but the laptop denies they exist. Seems it's not just look-and-feel that MSFT have screwed around with - now the DATA is unreliable as well. Sort of begs the questions: Do MSFT know what they're doing? And MS Teams, can you trust it?8.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Team Calls - screen layout
And even if we DID like our call History SO much that we would prefer it to the layout showing more usable details, why oh why does the history show the Person, the Direction, the Duration and the Date - and keep the Time of the call a secret???? There's nothing I like more than clicking on line after line after line to locate the precise time of a call - well that's not quite true ... there's LOADS of things I like more ... almost anything. FYI I also like s/w that doesn't radically change it's UI overnight, with no consultation, no option for the USER to chose the USER's preferred layout that the USER find works best for the USER. I also dislike PMs who take feedback onboard and commit to understanding it and possibly action it AFTER the project's completed BUT not before ..... dislike INTENSELY Just in case anyone msft is interested .... probably not ... but just in case .....8.3KViews2likes0CommentsRe: Team Calls - screen layout
DaleA60 Maybe what we should take from this (which may be subliminally the message that MSFT wants us to) is that that MSFT's focus is on History (what's happened in the past) rather than what's happening now (Speed dial) ... ... next thing to go will be the diary (what's in the future) is MSFT's ethos is as it appears to be .... (Also just noticed my content was "autosaved at 09:03 AM" - shame it's 17:03 round here right now - another failure of MSFT to act as a worldwide company and let the USA mask slip)8.6KViews2likes0CommentsRe: Team Calls - screen layout
Philipp_van-der-Heide It might be new, it might be shiny but what it isn't is welcomed, consulted or configurable. When will MS learn that people get to like what they know and are used to and making a change (for change's sake) that doesn't add one jot of functionality and doesn't provide for the user to select the new or keep the old (where functionality is not affected by the change) will forever be unpopular and unwelcome. And, just to keep in the MS spirit of wasting lots of space on the screen ... I agree - aweful! Revert12KViews2likes1Comment
