Re: Agents in Cloud Auto Attendant and Call queues doesn't reach based on their Status.
Hi all, Yes, this has been the behavior on call queues in Teams, Skype for Business and Lync since launched back in 2010. Regardless of how you configure the call routing within a queue/group, and regardless of how many agents in the group and their status (DND, in a call, offline etc), the caller will stay in the queue listening to the on hold music until the specified timeout. Even if you use attendant routing (that doesnt care if you already have a call), and even if all your agents are totally offline, the caller will stay in queue until the specified timeout. To solve cases like these I use third party tool from Tendfor, that gives you all these additional settings that MS is missing, allowing you to use Teams as a real call center. Totally agree, there should be a settings how to handle calls when no agent is available. But since I've been missing it for some 11 years I don't think it will be added sometime soon. Check out Tendfor, or Competella, both allowing just that. PM me if you want a quick demo... 🙂1.9KViews0likes0CommentsIn what scenario is a guest user added in AAD?
I tried to find the answer to this by Reading all Azure whitepapers and blogs I could find, but no luck. I know I can add a guest user in the Azure AD portal, where the external user gets invited by an email. But some how by colleague managed to get Another external guest user added in our tenant without doing so from the Azure portal. According to him, he invited the user in Sharepoint or OneDrive. Exactly how or when does an invited external user get added to the Azure as a guest user? Best regards, Mikael14KViews0likes6CommentsIs AIP Track and Revoke included in O365 E5?
We have a lot of customers using basic services in their O365 E5. When we help them start using AIP as a part of their E5 subscription, they are not allowed to use the Track and Revoke feature in Azure RMS. Do they need additional license for that feature, or is there something that we simply need to activate? Thanks, MikaelSolvedRe: Office 365 groups not visible in Outlook client
Ralph Gillis It depends on how the groups was created. A O365 group created in the Teams client will automatically be hidden in Outlook (groups) and the Exchange addressbook. O365 groups created in any other tool will NOT be hidden anywhere, not even if it created in the Teams Admin portal. So groups made in Outlook for PC, Outlook Web Access, Exchange Admin portal, Azure AD Groups, etc - the list grows long. All these groups will be seen in Outlook per default.267KViews1like7CommentsRe: Cloud PBX with onprem PSTN conferencing.
Hi Jamie! I just wanted to check with you if this statement is still valid? Is there any way of doing local PSTN Conferencing via Hybrid and CCE in SFB Online, I just wanted to check if it has been discussed within your team or not.1.7KViews0likes2CommentsRe: In what scenario is a guest user added in AAD?
I guess my customers tenant is modified in some way, because when they do invites in OneDrive and Sharepoint the sharing does never create a guest user. Insted, the external user get the sharing info in an email and a one-time-code in a separate email when accessing the URL. I assume there need to be something changed in the tenant configuration...14KViews0likes1Comment
