Awesome place for relaxing and people watching during nice weather. You'll see artists, hula hoop experts, musicians, chess players, etc. The circle is also surrounded by great shops and restaurants.
This buzzy, gay-friendly neighbourhood is the place for trendygalleries, secondhand bookshops and quirky shopping. On Sundays, a farmers’ market brings the country into town. อ่านข้อมูลเพิ่มเติม
If you're up for a bit of shopping on your trip in Washington DC, Dupont Circle is the area you want to stop by. Here you'll find antique stores, boutiques, bookstores and more.
Много замечательных заведений на любой вкус - от кофешек и магазинов до ночных клубов. Не забудьте почитать про историю фонтана и про французского архитектора, благодаря которому появились circles.
Everything you might need is just around you...a Giant CVS (24hrs/7) ,a nice branch of Starbucks, the Dupont Circle metro station & one of Shake shak branches is near by.
Perhaps DC's best little National Park. Great people watching all year long. I like a veggie burrito from Chipotle up Conn. Best place for the mother of all Snowpocalypse snowball fights 2010!
A great place to take a stroll anytime of the year. Sip a coffee or snack on something from one of the many surrounding restaurants. I love reading a book on a bench near the fountain. Classic DC.
Cultural hub of the city; great restaurants, bars, clubs, and cafes in pretty much every direction- particularly along Conn Ave. Lovely neighborhood; decent nightlife.
In 1975, Dupont Cir. area Lambda Rising bookstore ran the nation's first gay-orientated television commercial. This historic gay neighborhood is one of America's first. Don't miss the fountain!
Notable for its superior examples of Victorian rowhouses and turn-of-the-century Beaux-Arts mansions. Designated June 1977 with nearly 3100 protected buildings within its district boundaries.
Fabulous people-watching & scenic shots down each relative street surrounding the Circle & fountain. Early morning & evening light is the best for shooting ;-)
Jan 11(right now!): the National Day of Action Against Guantanamo & the NDAA! Join us at 1130 in Lafayette Square across from the White House. The program and march will run from Noon-2:30pm EST
Contrary to popular belief, no longer a true gayborhood. The gays have long since gentrified it and moved elsewhere while yuppies from Arlington have been pouring in for years.
