    I would recommend viewing this crater at sunset. You can see it during the day and then watch it glow red as night falls. Get there early, the parking lot fills.

    Learn about volcanoes, watch white steam rise during the day, then at night the steam glows red from the lava! Then spend a few hours doing other things in the park, like hiking trails.

    Breathtaking! Make sure to stop by the park rangers at the visitors center or Jaggar's Observation! They know their stuff!
