Bosnia and Herzegovina's industrial production dropped by 0.2% year-on-year in October 2024, marking its eighth consecutive month of decline, though the contraction slowed significantly from a 5.8% decrease in August. Output rose for consumer non-durables (3.2% vs 0.3% in September) and saw a significantly smaller contraction for intermediate goods (-1.2% vs -13.7%). However, sharper declines were recorded for consumer durables (-6.9% vs -4.7%), energy (-2.5% vs -0.5%), and capital goods (-4.8% vs -3.5%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity increased by 1.1% in October, rebounding from an upwardly revised flat reading in September.

Bosnia and Herzegovina's industrial production dropped by 5.8% year-on-year in September 2024, marking its seventh consecutive monthly decline, though the contraction eased from a 7.1% decrease in August. Output contracted at a lower pace for intermediate goods (-13.7% vs 14.3% in August) and consumer durables (-4.7% vs -15.9%). Meanwhile, output fell for energy (-0.5% vs 2%) and capital goods (-3.5% vs 3%), while it rebounded for consumer non-durables (0.3% vs -4.7%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity fell 0.1% in September, following a 2.6% decline in the prior month.

Industrial Production in Bosnia and Herzegovina tumbled by 7.1% year-on-year in August 2024, marking the 6th consecutive month of declines, and slipping further from a 2.8% fall in the previous month. It was the sharpest decline since May, weighed by decreases in the output of intermediate goods (-14.3% vs -7.3% in July), consumer durables (-15.9% vs 7.8%), and consumer non-durables (-4.7% vs -2.1%). On the other hand, output rose at faster pace for energy (2% vs 0.2%) and capital goods (3% vs 0.2%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity tumbled 2.6% in August, reversing a 3.1% surge in the prior month.
