Croatia Inflation Rate Confirmed at 6-Month High
The annual inflation rate in Croatia was confirmed at 2.8% in November 2024, accelerating from a 2.2% rise in the previous month. This marked the highest reading since May, as prices increased for housing & utilities (2.3% vs 0.2% in September). Moreover, costs declined at a slower rate for clothing & footwear (-0.1% vs -0.3%) and transport (-0.5% vs -2.5%). Meanwhile, inflation eased for furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance (0.2% vs 0.9%), recreation & culture (4.7% vs 5.2%), and restaurants & hotels (10.1% vs 10.6%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.4%, following a 1.1% gain in the preceding period.
