It marked the highest inflation rate since February, as prices increased mainly for food & non-alcoholic beverages (5.8% vs 4.6% in September), housing (0.4% vs 0.1%), household goods (3.8% vs 2.6%), transport (0.4% vs -2.6%), communication (9.4% vs 7.7%), recreation & entertainment (6.3% vs 5%), hotels, cafes & restaurants (6.1% vs 4.7%), miscellaneous goods and services (8.7% vs 8.3%). Additionally, costs declined less for clothing & footwear (-1% vs -2.1%). Meanwhile, inflation slowed for alcohol & tobacco (5.8% vs 6.3%) and health (6.9% vs 7.3%).
