Germany House Price Index
The Europace House Price Index (EPX) is computed based on transaction data for private real estate financing from the independent Europace platform. Around 20 percent of all real estate financing for private customers in Germany is handled via Europace. The EPX was developed in 2005 together with the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning BBR and has been collected monthly since then. The overall index consists of the data from the individual indices for existing and new buildings as well as for condominiums.
