Hungary's construction output fell by 0.5% year-on-year in October 2024, easing sharply from an 8.2% drop in the previous month. This marked the fifth consecutive month of falling construction activity. Civil engineering works recovered significantly (7.5% vs -17% in September), while building construction declined further (-5.7% vs -2%).
