Industrial output in Jordan grew by 1.20% year-on-year in October 2024, slowing from a 3.41% rise in the previous month. It marked the fourth consecutive month of growth in industrial production but the softest pace since July, due to a much slower growth in manufacturing output (0.56% vs 3.35% in September). Meanwhile, electricity (2.63% vs 0.71%) and mining and quarrying production (10.57% vs 7.46%) continued to rise. On a monthly basis, industrial production fell by 2.96% in October, the steepest decline in eleven months, after a 1.17% drop in September.
