Lithuania’s trade deficit narrowed to EUR 0.417 billion in November 2024 from EUR 0.547 billion in the same month last year, as exports fell less than imports. Exports declined by 7.2% to EUR 3.111 billion, primarily due to decrease in exports of mineral fuels, mineral oils & their distillation products (38.1%), cereals (39.5%). At the same time, imports dropped by 9.5% to EUR 3.528 billion, dragged down by lower purchases of mineral fuels, mineral oils and their distillation products (27%), machinery and mechanical equipment, & their parts (17%).
