Poland’s corporate sector wages increased by 9.8% year-on-year to PLN 8,821.25 in December 2024, following a 10.5% rise in the previous month and below market forecasts of a 11.3% growth. On a monthly basis, wages rose by 4%, primarily due to the distribution of various bonuses and awards, including those for Christmas, service anniversaries, and Miner's Day, as well as quarterly and annual bonuses and retirement severance payments.
