Producer prices in Serbia increased 0.7% year-on-year in November 2024, following a 0.5% rise in the previous month. This marked the second consecutive month of producer price inflation, as prices rebounded for manufacturing (0.3% vs -1% in October) and costs dropped at a slower pace for mining & quarrying (-0.3% vs -4.3%). At the same time, costs went up for water supply; sewerage, waste management & remediation activities (9.3% vs 8.4%). Meanwhile, price growth slowed for electricity, gas, steam and air condition supply (1.1% vs 5.6%). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.2% in November, slowing from a 0.8% advance in October.

Producer prices in Serbia rose 0.5% year-on-year in October 2024, rebounding from a 0.6% fall in the previous month. Cost fell at a lower rate for mining & quarrying (-4.3% vs -5.5% in September 2024) and manufacturing (-1% vs -2.1%). Meanwhile, prices accelerated for electricity, gas, steam and air condition supply (5.6% vs 4.7%), while it maintained the same rate of increase for water supply; sewerage, waste management & remediation activities (8.4%). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose by 0.8%, rebounding from a 0.8% decline in the previous month.
