Industrial production in Slovenia advanced by 3.4% year-on-year in October 2024, rebounding from a downwardly revised 0.3% drop in the previous month. Output increased for mining & quarrying (26.8% vs 11.4% in September) and manufacturing (5.7% vs 2.4%). Additionally, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply declined less (-16% vs -18.2%). On a monthly basis, industrial activity rose by 2.2%, following an upwardly revised 1.8% gain in the preceding period.

Production slowed in the manufacturing sector (2.2% vs 7% in August), while electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply declined further (-17.5% vs -13.7%).
