Tourist arrivals in Slovenia rose 19.7% year-on-year to 311,451 in November 2024, following an 11.5% increase in the previous month. The number of domestic tourists increased by 4.4% to 109,119, while foreign tourists surged by 30% to 202,332. Most foreign visitors came from Italy (+59.8%), Croatia (+71.1%), Austria (+29.3%), Serbia (+43.8%), and Germany (+0.3%). Meanwhile, overnight stays increased by 14.4% to 756,279, with the number of tourist overnight stays rising in spa resorts (+10.5%), mountain resorts (+20.3%), seaside resorts (+10.5%), and the capital (+8.3%).

Tourist arrivals in Slovenia rose by 11.5% year-on-year to 471,735 in October 2024, recovering from a 1% decline in the previous month. The number of domestic tourists increased by 3.4% to 132,898, while foreign tourists surged by 15% to 338,837. Most foreign visitors came from Germany (+17.6%), Austria (+6.1%), Italy (+18.5%), Croatia (+3.8%), and the US (+23%). Meanwhile, overnight stays increased by 7.5% to 1,122,114, with the number of tourist overnight stays rising in spa resorts (+7%), mountain resorts (+7.4%), seaside resorts (+2.6%), and the capital (+15.6%).
