On a monthly basis, consumer prices were unchanged, following a 0.3% rise in November and missing forecasts of a 0.2% increase. Meanwhile, the annual CPI with a fixed interest rate (the central bank's target measure) rose by 1.5%, easing from a six-month high of 1.8% and below the expected 1.7%.
