Private investment in Thailand edged higher by 0.5% month-on-month in January 2025, from a 0.2% increase in the previous month. This marked the highest reading since October, driven by higher investment in machinery and equipment, supported by increased domestic sales and imports of capital goods. In addition, investment in non-residential construction slightly increased, while, investment in construction remained stable.
