The number of tourist arrivals in Macau grew by 9.6% year-on-year to 2.83 million in November 2024, following a 13.7% rise in the previous month. Both same-day and overnight visitors increased by 14.1% and 4.6%, respectively. Meanwhile, the average length of stay of visitors held stable year-on-year at 1.2 days, with that of overnight visitors rising by 0.1 day to 2.3 days. Visitors from Mainland China rose by 11% from a year earlier to 1.97 million, with those traveling under the Individual Visit Scheme increasing by 6%. Additionally, visitors from Taiwan climbed by 29.3% to 71.3 thousand, while those from Hong Kong dropped by 0.8% to 554.1 thousand.
