The number of tourist arrivals to Montenegro fell 1.5% year-on-year to 174,777 in September 2024, following a 1.2% decline in the previous month. Foreign visitors accounted for 93% of the total, while domestic visitors made up the remaining 7%. The largest number of foreigners came from Serbia (13.3%), Germany (6.8%), Israel (6.4%), France (5.7%) and Turkey (5.4%). Most tourists stayed at seaside resorts (78.4%) and in the capital (13%). Among the destinations, Budva was the most popular (38.1%), followed by Podgorica (13%).

The number of tourist arrivals to Montenegro fell by 0.7% year-on-year to 226,106 in July 2024, following a 7% increase in the previous month. Foreign visitors accounted for 91.7% of the total, while domestic visitors made up the remaining 8.3%. The largest number of foreigners came from Serbia (19.6%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (6.8%), Turkey (5.4%), the UK (5.3%), and Israel (5%). Most tourists stayed at seaside resorts (82.8%) and in the capital (9.7%). Among the destinations, Budva was the most popular (37.4%), followed by Herceg Novi (11.8%) and Bar (10.7%).
