Unfortunately my car broke down at a motorway service station on Christmas day. Thankfully I was covered with ping insure! I cannot recommend them enough. I completed an eform to inform of my breakdown and received a telephone call immediately. The man I spoke to on the phone was very reassuring and calmed me down. He even fully understood my apprehension at having to input my card details to pay the £30 excess. I was being over cautious and shaken by the whole ordeal. I received a text message to tell me a technician would arrive within one hour and the a phone from him, confirming my location and he said he'd be with me in 15mins, which he was. He wasn't able to fix my car so towed it home immediately. He was also very reassuring and chatted to me for the journey home. Thank you!

This is by far the worst insurance/breakdown provider I have dealt with. Never ever buy any insurance with this provider even if they sell it for free. They denied the service and have a person who can't speak English properly and after taking all the details from you will tell you that your claim has been denied. No service is available to you.

My electric bicycle‘s battery was stolen. Laka dealt with my claim very quickly and professionally. Communication feels very positive as opposed to the antagonistic style that one is used to from other insurance companies. My claim was paid within a week.

My Ebike has stopped working over the course of several days, I can't find a obvious reason for this and as it seems to be beyond my ability to fix I contacted bikmo under the homes that they would either provide a replacement, a temporary bike for work (as I pay extra for work coverage) or cover the cost of repairs. I received an email from Hiscox, bikmos underwriters, claiming that they do not cover electrical issues, mechanical damage, wear and tear or faults. This wording implies they do nothing for the bike. Now the meer fact that I do not know what the issue with my bike is and the fact that they can claim an electrical fault (which I'll add is not written in the not covered section) without having a mechanic look over my bike proves that they are nothing more than scammer. A mechanic couldn't tell you what was wrong from a photo so how can a completely unqualified desk Jockey? Bikmo have been of absolutely no help at all and not even had the mere decency to support me to have a temporary bike to use for work. Please do not use bikmo as they have no intention at all of supporting you when you need them. They're a typical stereotype of an insurance company, they'll take your money and leave you high and dry when you need them most. Thank god it wasn't something more serious like personal injury as they absolutely would screw their way out of their responsibilities and ignore you.
