We had a great time at the polar express.Parking was easy short walk over to the station make sure if raining you have decent shoes on.We didn’t buy any food from the stalls thought it was expensive but was expecting that it’s the same at any event.There was hotdogs,Chips,sweet stall,Cakes and a toasted marshmallow stall if I remember correctly.There are a couple of photo opportunities in this area which are rather nice .Then into a big tent to wait for the train .There is a big screen playing with a video about your experience.You are seated in the tent by your ticket section.I did think there wasn’t enough seats and would say this part wasn’t a nice experience to many people in a small space.Would of been better if it was bigger to accommodate everyone and with some sort of live entertainment .You go onto the platform in seat order so that was good and wait for the train to arrive.Easy to find seats on the train we were a party of six so we had 4 seats together and 2 across so we could all see each other .We were lucky no one sat in the spare two seats so had plenty of room .We were expecting all the seats to be full.The staff were great on the train especially the conductor .He spent time with each one of us clipping our tickets.Santa was good with each child everyone received a bell.We all had hot chocolate and a cookie.Hot chocolate was only warm but that was better for the children.On leaving the train everyone has to go though the shop with some lovely souvenirs I brought a fridge magnet which did cost £9 and my Grandson brought a pencil for £4.50 .It was expensive but this was also expected.I would of preferred to shop before the train ride as it did get crowded with everyone at the same time only one way system .I did see a member of staff standing by the side of a Christmas tree which if you asked you could get out this way if you are not buying anything .It did feel like they were guarding that exit and it wasn’t clear you could exit there.We have booked again for 2025 tickets on sale already.We went in December but I think if you pick November dates there is a big difference in price .If you on a budget check out November prices before booking I only noticed this after booking .

I had a lovely lunch , which was a coronation chicken sandwich and a good caramel latte , the staff member on the checkout was very polite when I asked for a price check , and there were some excellent bargains in the sale, overall a very good experience

Just had the most terrible experience with this company. They have a very unprofessional team with the most basic knowledge. They aren’t even capable of translating a simple document. I was shocked to read the draft translation they sent me and ended up translating the whole thing myself and send it to them for approval. They totally lied about the delivery time frame. They are extremely rude and didn’t even apologise for their poor service and hung the phone up on me. If you want to know how bad their English is, just read their response to the other negative review. I advise everyone to avoid this company and not waste their money.
